You dont appreciate how big this is until you have it spread out. Initially I wasnt sure what we would do with it as we only have a single storey however we have a porch and we have had a dress rehearsal of hanging this from the roof and instead of it being spread out in the pictures I think it looks fab being a roof full of spiders web! I will fasten up to the edges and the top by tying some thread and using masking tape as it is light enough to stay up like that. Having had a rehearsal I found it was easy to gather together fixing with the ties and folding as I went so it hasn't knotted up. I think this is better than a lot of similar ones as the silk makes it look more like a cobweb. Looking forward to the main event now!

excessive price.Ordered for the mothers garden for halloween as she will be holding the party at hers this year, this as a set of lights integrated into a spider's web does seem like a good idea and they do look good as long as you have some background light to show up the web, but as soon as it goes pitch black you can no longer see the web effectively and all you're left with visible is the lights that look like they are floating in straight lengths, in the dark what you see is lines of lights.Now in reality quality wise these are a set of inexpensive battery powered fairy lights with a strand material attached, you can get the lights for a few quid so you are paying over the odds for the material webbing, these are not very good value component wise for the money at just shy of £20 however if you do have ample background light to light up the strand material then they do look stunning. if there had have been lights in the cross sections then it would have looked a whole lot better.

This is a Halloween decoration that is large in scale, has lights and needs no external power source!It comes in a surprisingly small retail carton with a remote control device and stakes to fix it down.Ideally you get this as high as you can, we have a telegraph pole at the top of our drive that will be perfect.Hang the hook as high as you can to get the best effect, the battery box (3 x AA not included) has a 2mtr wire to the top of the light so the remote control could be a very useful item to have!Especially if you are disguised standing beside your door dressed in a huge hooded cloak like I will be!The purple lights (along with orange) seem to be on theme for Halloween, although I have no idea why?The lights can be turned on / off or set to one of 8 effects using the remote control which works from a decent distance it is a two channel set so it can twinkle, pulse, alternate, flash and breathe or simply stay on!The cobweb looks great during the day, frayed enough to look scale appropriate and you do not notice the fact it has lights in it until it is dark and turned on!Trying to get power all the way up to the road is a pain in the patella I wont have to suffer this year with this set of battery driven LED lights.Happy to help!

The below is my own real-world experience of using it.The lights themselves are on a good quality twine thread, though this can get tangled easily, so care should be taken whilst storing it.It is a vibrant and fun display piece - the battery component also acts as a control panel, which allows you to select from various different light effects, all of which are bright and colourful.If I'm completely honest, I vastly underestimated just how long the 'web' is (it is really long!), but this means that it would be fantastic to display on a house, or in a garden. Just maybe not so much indoors.Regardless, a good value item.

These will be perfect lights to create a Halloween mood at the home. It is powered by 3 x AA batteries power it so you have the freedom to put them where you want without the need for electricity. As well in box, you get pegs and hooks to put them on the roof or ground. The lights looks like a really spider web as they have cotton fabric all around so gives authenticity. The lights are quite bright and you have 8 different light modes which you can choose by pushing a button.Overall if you like to celebrate Halloween, and decorate your house accordingly these lights will be perfect for it.

This is a great addition to any spooky event, it looks great at night and is actually a lot better than I thought it would be.Battery powered but you have to supply your own batteries, 3x AA are required. It also comes with a remote which does come with a battery and 5 pegs for attaching to the ground/grass.Only took a few minutes to install the batteries and unravel. I wasn't expecting the web to have a dirty fury/web like finish, so that's a nice touch and the LED lights make the whole thing shimmer.I will definitely be putting this up for Halloween, it'll make the house stand out for sure.No complaints, works well, good price. This 16ft Spider Web is lit with 100 purple LED lights spread out along the lines of the web. The web is triangular and white in colour and the lights are bright. The web is quite ‘hairy’ looking and looks quite creepy. It is battery operated and takes 3 x 3AA batteries (not included). The batteries should last well with the lights being LED. The battery compartment of the spider web lamp is made of waterproof copper wire & cotton. The listing states it is real silk but also states it is cotton. I am presuming it is cotton that has been teased out to make it hairy. You also get a hook to hang the web from and 5 ground spikes to fasten it down into the grass. I have not tried it outside in the dark as of yet as it will form part of my Halloween display but I can see it is going to work well and will fit in well with my theme.
