This is the best tea infuser as it not only works in smaller cups but also large mugs and even teapots and it is the only one I've found with a fine enough mesh to stop all but the very smallest particles getting through while letting the water freely circulate for the best brew

Love this! Had them at least a year now. Not a fan of tea bags in this age of making small changes to help the environment so we’ve ended up buying 2 of these. Mug size for one, or the mesh is flexible enough to get in a teapot on holiday. Lid acts as mini tray when you remove & mesh is fine enough to use with fine tea leaves or ground coffee.Handles enable you to not burn yourself removing the basket & to tap it on the side of the compost bin without contents spilling over.

Superfine mesh filters coffee very well.

The fine mesh means that so far nothing has come through the filter into my mug which is a problem I was having with other tea infusers. It is surprisingly easy to clean and the lid also doubles as a drip tray meaning this is a great all in one tea infuser. It is fairly large so fits comfortably in large mugs or teapots but it is still suitable for smaller cups. My only problem with this product is the lid basically sits on top of the basket so it falls off easily. Other than that great product especially for the price.

Happy with this purchase. Bigger than expected - takes up most space of a standard mug. I use it for both coffee and tea making. With coffee it does let through some finer parts (i.e. you may have a little sludge at bottom of cup or mug) so if this bothers you maybe go for something else. I like the fact you can let the coffee sit in the mug for a little before removing it, which allows you to control the flavour more. This is unlike some other filter types like the stainless steal cone filter I have which you drip the water through and that's it.Good option for travel. Recommended.

This is the second one of these baskets I have bought. I am so pleased with the first one I wanted a spare in case they became unobtainable for some reason. Perfect size for my teapot, which has an 8cm opening, and whilst the tea is brewing very little heat is lost if you use the lid provided. I also have a smaller one for when I just want one cup of tea. The mesh is so fine, that although II drink very weak black tea, there is no residue in the bottom of my teapot/cup.
