This is a gorgeous set for the family! We enjoy games and anytime we go out to dinner the kids love playing on the outdoor patios. After seeing this we had to have it for Friday nights! Its made well and the deep wood finish makes it nicer looking but i probably wouldn't keep this outside.

Like many other reviewers reported, I received this with the feet broken, making it unusable out of the box (despite no box damage from shipping). I was able to get a replacement from Amazon without any issues other than an additional week of waiting, and the replacement was fine, but if you're thinking of gifting this or need it right away you'll be taking your chances on it arriving broken. And that's a shame because otherwise this is a very nice oversize four-in-a-row game.Once you get an undamaged game this is a gorgeous set. I love how the tray works to catch the discs when you dump them out (well, almost all of them - the full set doesn't quite fit in the compartment, so some might spill on the floor). The base pieces fit into the bottom compartment for travel and there's a bag that the discs fit in (though the instructions say the bag is for the base pieces - not sure why). The carrying strap is a nice touch - it clips to the mounting hooks if you decide to hang this on a wall.My only issue with the set is the latch that keeps the bottom compartment closed. While everything else about the set feels like decent quality, the latch feels like it's made out of tin foil. It is super thin metal and very cheap feeling. I don't trust it to hold up for more than a couple of uses and then I'll probably have to attach a new latch.Overall though, if you get an undamaged game it's great. I'll be bringing this to Scouting events like campouts, picnics, etc. I expect it'll get a lot of use!

It was big enough for the yard but not too big to bring indoors. The way it stores all in one piece is an excellent feature

Great price! Packaged well. Easy assembly. Love the dark wood frame with black and white pieces compared to the plastic red, yellow, and blue version. Best of all.... Fun to play for adults and kids!

We absolutely love our new Sport Beats connect 4 game!!! This is one awesome connect 4 game!! At first I wanted the red one that is plastic. I kept searching for something more affordable with quality after I read the reviews about the red plastic one. The price was also not in my price range when I looked at red plastic version. I looked online and at several local stores. I could not find this game locally.I read through reviews and watched online videos to make my decision on which game would be best for our family. I picked this version of connect 4 because it is made out of wood and the price is affordable. I decided to go with the more elegant looking game because it is made of wood, price, case, and style.We received the game quickly!! We opened the game and we were stunned at the quality of the game and that the game did not have any cracks as the reviews stated!! The paint is smooth, the wood is so smooth and feels so great when you touch the wood. The bar at the bottom is so easy to pull in and out.. The disc are nice and have a good weight to them.I am so glad that we did not go with the more expensive version!! This game will last for years to come!! The bag that comes with the game is also nice quality. The legs, discs, and game all fit in the bag and the bag is built for on the go. I can not wait for the 4th as this will be one of our games to play while we enjoy our smores over our fire pit!!If you are looking for this game but you are having a hard time deciding which version. Stop and check this version out, you will not be disappointed.We have had so much fun playing this game! Adults and children!! We played in teams and individual games. I plan to purchase a container for the disc to help contain the disc during play. I know with the normal version the disc just lay on what ever surface the game sits on. If I can not find a style that will work, it really won't matter, because this game is so much fun that you will not care about the disc laying on the surface. The main thing anyone will care about is winning!!!Don't believe the negative reviews!! The disc are nice, the wood is nice, and the bar is not hard to take out. This game also looks nicer over the plastic red one. This is nice for the office because it does not take away from the office decor. This game is classy looking!!
