Waterbed 5 Piece Jumbo Designer Fabric Padded Rail Cap (Queen, Chocolate Velvet)

Works perfect, fits perfect. Better than expected. We bought a Cal King water bed off Walmart and needed padding for the rails…Anyways these slipped on no problems. Fit perfectly.Nice and soft and squishy. Love it and it’s so retro. Nicely made.

Came very quickly. Good quality of work. Glad to be having my old frame be whole once again.

I honestly feel a little bit like a crazy person. When I initially saw this product(and subsequently purchased it) the attached images, item name and description were different. It was labeled as a queen bed frame. I even remember the item weight being somewhere in the hundreds. I couldn't believe the price so I had both my husband and mother look over everything to make sure I wasn't missing something. Based upon the information provided we all believed this to be a wooden queen bed frame. So imagine my surprise when it was simply the rail pads. I returned to the product description to find all mention of the queen bed frame gone and a very clear description of the rail pads. Then to add insult to injury when we returned it we had to pay shipping which was 80% of the original price. This was proof that when something seems to good to be true it probably is.

I really like the material and the feel of the rails, but my wife thinks they are just OK. That's not the problem we encountered. The problem is that the corner pieces are too tall and too long for the side rails and the end rail.The height of the corner pieces is greater than the rails, and the situation shows. But the real problem is that the corner pieces are too long to fit with the end rail between them. I tried prying the end piece in between them -- no joy. Then I tried hitting them with a hammer -- no joy. Then I tried leaving them up -- no joy. Something needed to be shortened, but I didn't want to try sending stuff back because they are large and heavy.Fortunately, we have a good upholstery shop 20 minutes from our home. I took the end piece to them and asked them to shorten it by 3/4 inch. For $55 they did it in a couple of days, and it doesn't show. So I put the (shortened) end piece on the bed and it looked fine (even though the end pieces stick up and below the rails).We have had many different rails on this water bed (which we have had for about 45 years), and we've never had a problem like this. It certainly looks like the manufacturer just made the end pieces too large in all dimensions.So if you're willing to modify what you get, this set of 5 pieces might be just what you'd like.
