Contrary to common wisdom, Seiko, while an excellent watch, is not Japan's top watch. Citizen is.This design, minimalist, is what I was after. It is a very practical design. Very easy to read under almost any lighting condition. It is light and large for a Man's watch, and as a man's watch should be. It is flat and thin, resting well on any wrist.Talking accuracy may be mundane or superfluous for a quartz watch. But if you must ask, it is more accurate than the most expensive mechanical watch with a big Swiss name. In fact it is so accurate that you would not have to correct it manually more than once or twice a year. But I am talking seconds not minutes.I do have two expensive Swiss mechanical watches, of which one I have purchased here on Amazon and the second was my 25 year Christmas gift from my employer. They are both heavy, and protrude so high on my wrist that wearing them 24/7 is not really very practical, ergo, I have purchased this one to serve the very purpose of accuracy and practicality in an elegant minimalist design style.If you are looking for a minimalist wrist watch, elegant, practical and easy to read in any lighting condition, this may arguably be the best there is at the most reasonable price../

I love this watch. My dad bought it for me more than four years ago, and I still wear it every day. It is excellent value for money. I get complements on it all the time. The accuracy is great - I rarely ever adjust the time on it. I really like the simple design too.

I am very excited about my new watch which just came in the mail today. It is even nicer in person than the images show. It's got a quartz battery so I know it will outlive my more pricey eco-drives given the battery is replaced as needed. Its got a very plain and prominent layout allowing easy and quick viewing of the time. It is indeed very masculine in appearance and weight. It will last forever being made by a brand that is strictly a watch manufacturer. Many fashion brands manufacture watches on the side. Citizen is strictly a watch company and produce nothing except timepieces. I am now a proud owner of a remarkable piece of accessory.

It's a decent watch but very cheaply made. The band makes squeaking sounds & the crown feels like a knock off

Clean classic look. The face is a rich black, the hour markers sparkle. Because of its light weight you can wear it comfortably all day, and despite its light weight it is a well made watch, it’s doesnt feel like a flimsy cheaply made one. I also have a Citizen eco drive dress watch with a black leather band, this watch looks just as stylish and “dressy”.

I'm 6'3" 240 lbs (ish) and while I don't immediately have beefy jock arms and I have decent size guns, this thing leaves a lot of room between the actual watch, and my arm. Thankfully, (so far), it doesnt pinch my arm hair like other metallic watches of this design (Not this brand) have done in the past. Will keep wearing it.I'm giving this item a 4 star because it leaves a decent amount of room around my arm, and the watch. It slides all the way down to my hand unless I tug it down my arm as far as it will go, even tightened all the way. Would really like there to be a better way to tighten the watch snaps down, in the future, for designs from Citizen.There is one setting on the metallic snap. either it fits you, or doesn't. This watch I got was made for people with bigger arm sizes.Haven't tried it in the water, I just got the watch because it is a decently made watch and a decent brand.

I bought this watch for my boyfriend’s Christmas present in December of 2016. The watch is still in excellent condition and he has worn it every single day since that Christmas! The battery has an outstanding life - it just died this week (middle of February 2019) for the very first time!I’m very pleased with this purchase.

I purchased this watch for my boyfriend as a Valentine's Day gift and he absolutely loves it. Citizen is one of his favorite watch brands, and like the others he owns, this watch is high-quality and looks very sharp, especially for such an affordable price. The face is a little larger than the ones he owns with leather straps - it looks very classic and masculine. I definitely recommend this product.

El diseño es sencillo pero es bonito y muy legible. Con 42 mm puede ser un poco grande. El "lume" no es el mejor pero funciona. Bastante bien por el precio!

Came a few days earlier than expected, it's exactly as described. The 42 mm case at first looks bigger because it doesn't have a thick chunky border so the dial face takes up almost the whole front. Looks classy yet simple and hip, great for any occasion, dressy or everyday casual. Easy to read time but wish the date box was a bit larger, it took about 5 minutes to take out 2 links out and fits perfectly. Not heavy or bulky like some of my smaller case chunkier Bulovas and Seiko. Overall feel and look of watch is great. I've only been wearing it for a few hours so I'll have to wait a few weeks to see how well it keeps time, I don't foresee any issues because its a Citizen after all. Registered the watch immediately and the back actually says 10 bar, which would be about 100 meters water resistance, which is more than the 30 meters advertised. Overall great deal for a quality good looking timepiece, the simplicity is all I was looking for this time without too many dials and numbers, the glow in the dark feature works really well, I just want to look at the watch and immediately know what time it is, very satisfied.(Update - Almost 2 months later and the time is dead on accurate synced with my phone as expected, after registering the watch it does indeed state 10 bar water resistance on the back, plus the 5 year warranty. This watch would also be ideal for hitmen or assassins out on a job because it won't draw too much unneeded attention or contrast being all sparkly and flashy, it will blend in perfectly if carrying a canvas bag or other suitcases/bags, after the hit or job a different watch can be put on and this one thrown away without losing sleep over money or replacing it later. If James Bond was real, being ex-military I guarantee he would be wearing this watch and not a Seiko, Rolex or Breitling, same goes for any spy or secret service. If there's unexpected swimming involved it's not a problem either. (The reason I wear mine this way is because I can find out the time faster, one straight efficient upward motion, no having to turn the wrist and sticking out your elbow and possibly get an injury, the watch face is protected at all times when walking or if bumping into something, perfect for when on the laptop in public places too, nobody will be able to just peak over and look at your watch to see what time it is, they'll have to go elsewhere to peak for time or at personal information on your laptop) What kind of watch or anything can you get for 80 bucks these days anyway. Highly recommend. You can't go wrong with this quality timepiece.

One of my best pieces. I've used it for years. Had to change the battery q couple time but nothing abnormal. Crown a bit tight but overall very happy and looks nice. Bracelet is pretty good too.
