I was looking for an affordable phone, and this one has exceeded my expectations. The 6.6" HD+ screen is bright and clear, and the waterdrop design gives it a modern look. The 8GB RAM and octa-core processor make it run smoothly, and I haven’t had any issues with lag, even with multiple apps open. The 13MP camera takes surprisingly good photos for a phone at this price, and the 4300mAh battery easily lasts me the whole day. I also love that it’s unlocked, so I can use it with any carrier. Overall, this phone is a fantastic value for what you get!

This phone pleasantly surprised me with both its looks and performance. I wasn't expecting much from a phone at this price point, and it's great. The size and weight are similar to more popular phones of this size. The finish is smooth and comfortable. As an added and unexpected bonus, it shipped with a protective silicone case. Activating was easy—just turn it on and install your SIM. The graphics are crisp and clear, with great color and deep blacks with no noticed bad pixels. The performance is punchy. Capable of running multiple apps with no lag, I had 5 apps open with no noticeable decrease in responsiveness. The camera is surprisingly good quality for a budget phone.The phone runs on Android 14 OS and installed updates right after the first startup which is promising for their update cycle. A solid performer with quality hardware and no noticed bloatware. As it runs Android 14 software with no issues, I expect it will accept OS updates without any performance issues.This is overall a fantastic phone. If you are looking for a fully functional, high-performance Android phone at an affordable price point this is the one to get. Don't let the unfamiliar brand name dissuade you, this is an awesome phone and well worth the cost.

I love everything about this phone other than it won't connect to any of the big three USA mobile network operators or their MVNO's. I've tried getting it connected without success, but it's due to the phones frequency range(s), and it can't be changed. The C53 will connect to wifi and bluetooth, but that kinda defeats the purpose of a "mobile phone". Oukitels C53 webpage shows a limited frequency range from the Amazon description; don't just trust me, compare for yourself. I spent a good part of a day attempting to get the C53 connected to a network in the USA without success, including MVNO's. I'm pretty sure this phones frequencies are set for connecting Asia and not the USA.Frequency listed on Oukitel website:GSM: B2/3/5/8WCDMA: B1/8FDD: B1/3/5/7/8/19/20TDD: 38/40/41Frequency range from the seller:GSM: B5/B8/B3/B2WCDMA: B1/2/4/5/8FDD-LTE: B1/2/3/4/5/7/8/12/17/19/20/25/26/28AB/66Again, I love the C53, but it's currently not supported in the USA. I bought this phone at the recommendation of a friend who is very happy with theirs. I'm someone who isn't picky about my technology... I just want it to be straightforward, reliable and affordable. I'd honestly just get a flip phone if it wasn't so hard to get by in today's day & age without it being the expectation now that everyone has a smart device, on them at all times.Well... this phone fits the bill, First of all, the 4300mAh battery life is honestly baffling. even after a day's use I still have most of the power left! I just wanted something that didn't obnoxiously guzzle battery and got so much more! Not sure how long this level of performance will last with the limited knowledge I have on how to maintain it, but sufficed to say this is really amazing so far.The price point is what initially sold me. Most other devices I've seen online average nearly twice that cost, or are a similar/lower price but poor quality. Not sure what you'd get out of the more expensive ones, but I'm more than happy with what I've got here.If you "just need a phone that works," get this one! You won't be disappointed.

I have this phone for a few months now and for the price, this is a great phone. I like the features (64GB decent storage, can use external storage, 6.6 large screen, comes unlocked, good battery life, various widgets, so many settings, and more)As far as everything else goes, I upgrade my phone so infrequently that I really don't know how it compares to what else is out there... even if you showed me "the specs." I'm sure it isn't the absolute best around, but what I can tell you is this: the call clarity is great, both handheld and speaker. Bluetooth connects quickly and stays connected. I can have a lot of apps and Internet tabs open and switch between them and not be waiting for stuff to load (don't worry, I clear them when I'm done). Oh and the camera quality is so clear! Long story short, everything that needs to work works, it works well, and it's pretty easy for a less tech savvy person like myself to figure out.Overall decent phone.

Short version: I got this for my mom since she had a habit of buying theUsed mobile phones and then calling me repeatedly because they had weird issues. This fixed those issues.This phone has a camera is suitable for everyday use, a solid processor, plenty of RAM for regular usage, a good screen, lots of storage,and the latest Android 14,Speakers are super loudand,OUKITEL C53 is a very nice simple android experience for a very comparatively cheap price. the chassis feels kinda cheap but you should stick it in a case anyway so who cares.The actual phone bits of the phone are all great.

The media could not be loaded. I'm amazed at how good this is for the price. The first thing you notice once opening is just how big this is. The screen is huge and nicely vibrant. The green colour is beautiful and it's a nice touch that this comes already inside a silicone case for protection. I didn't expect this so it was nice to see.One thing that might be easy to miss is that before switching this on you do need to open the case and remove the sticker from the battery. At first I thought it wasn't working but it appears i was just missing a step and being a bit dim... You literally just remove the sticker on the battery and this fires straight up and works perfectly.The phone is brilliant. Packed full of features with full android 14 access and a really powerful battery. This charges fast handholds charge for ages. it charges via USB-C so that's always nice sign of a powerful charging system.. The phone is fast and connectivity is excellent. It looks great, feels nice in the hand, is easy to use, setup and navigate and honestly... It's the best phone I've ever used for a ridiculously low price.First class!

I had trouble getting the back off to remove the safety tab on the battery. When I one that battle - It was easy set up all my contacts and various apps. It looks good and the colours and definition and sound are brilliant Very pleased with it

This is not my first Oukitel fone, it’s my 3rd or maybe 4th. This was a quick purchase for my Wife who needed an Android based fone, and I knew exactly which brand to go for…Oukitel. Good spec at a great price. AND…. TOP MARKS to OUKITEL as you can actually replace the Battery on this one. A feature a lot of brands have moved away from to their detriment in my view.
