Everything is as advertised. Software integration is awesome! AI tools work well. Be aware that you will likely need an exhaust fan to speed up exit of smoke - I have a fan that runs all the time and exits outdoors. So far my only objection. They should integrate the laser cooler into the main box to avoid some of the cable clutter - too many accessory cables in my opinion. Couldn't understand how to get the 'WIFI' integration to work - help was no help - need to call support. I am updating this post for more details. First, the software has been updated and is better yet that the original. The support staff has contacted me when I found a bad cable and replaced not just that cable, but all of the interface cables to insure satisfaction. Support staff was awesome. Some have complained that the colored plexi cover is easily scratched - Thanks. A little coat of spray on ceramic coating for my car fixes that issue permanently. I have many hours on the machine with zero scratches. It does cloud up from smoke, but little glass cleaner works great. Some of the software prompts are double redundant like a delete command, and that slows things down. There should be a way to turn those features off after X hours of use. The new features are clear and well integrated. I have yet to use the extended bed, but assume it is a bit hard to set up initially. It would be nice if they included both the 1.5 and 2.0 hex tools with a handle since it would be easier to set up the rotary tool and other parts. I found it hard to source a hex 1.5mm when I temporarily lost the little metal one included (without handle).

I'm new to Laser cutting/engraving. This was easy to set up, but took some time. All tools necessary and extra parts were included. The directions for assembly could've been a little better, but they came in multiple languages. The manufacturer ensures proper training of safe laser operations BEFORE you can use the machine with embedded training and certification in their software. I found this to be a sign of a truly reputable company that takes the safety and use of their products seriously. I HIGHLY recommend their products. Everything was packaged with exceptional care and high quality packing materials to ensure the safest transport of the product. All of the components are exceptional quality. If I could give this more than 5 stars I would!

Love it! It is a little tricky to set up. It is a learning experience. I tried to go right for engraving tumblers, and I learned that I had to learn the software and everything else first I’m still learning and it’s been a few months, but I absolutely love it. There’s so much that you can do with it. The only negative is that I wish I done my homework a little bit more because I didn’t need such a large one. It does take up a lot of space I mostly use it to engrave shipping boxes for my website and tumblers

This is a powerful machine and I only chose the 20w, can only imagine if I'd chose the 40w. Works very well, so much can be processed with it. It was a little pricey but to me worth it. It's almost paid off lol. My next pur have with be the smaller portable one x tool offers.

Bought this to make decorations and wall decor. The thing is awsome, with the enclosure it can be used inside without all of the smoke smell. It does very well at what I have intended for it. The actual workable area is a bit smaller than the bed so keep that in mind. You can find the measurements on the xtool website.

Word of advice to all buyers. Make certain if you buy this machine or any machine that you open it and test it because it may not work! So, to be fair I didn’t do as I just suggested and my machine doesn’t work and the warranty expired on 2/26/26. I have been in contact with the company using text, email, and phone but no resolution very slow frustrating process that I hope none of you experience. I am hoping Xtool will help since the warranty is less than two weeks expired but I will have to wait and see. So, please if you decide to purchase make certain you are ready and don’t put it in storage till later…get it and use it! Don’t be stupid like me or you might be out a lot of money. Buy smart and good luck!

This is number 3 for me of the xTool line! I love them all! And use them basically daily for my families woodworking and crafts business. The ability to get insane detail out of any engraving is top of the line!
