Water like consistency
The aerosol is quite a compact size, only having a capacity of 50ml. Needed quite a firm press to discharge, providing a wide mist like spray. Spray discharge looks and feels like water on back of hand and soon drys. Hands during the day seemed fine, but I don't know how they would have been if they weren't covered with the barrier spray.

It works well.
I’ve been trying out barrier sprays to see which works best, since I was unhappy with the expensive one I was using. This is one of the best, and a reasonable price.

Good to have
This is a product that's very handy to have in the first aid kit. I find it's a bit thin to be classified as a barrier cream but it's a good idea to use under a dressing. Would recommend having it in the house to be used when necessary.

Great wound care for minor nicks and scratches! Quick drying and painless!!
This review is for the "Stocare Protect Barrier Spray 50ml".Through the course of around the house DIY, my household tends to get little nicks while working on projects. They aren't anything serious, and it isn't really necessary to put a bandage over them, so I was looking for something to protect the little wounds while they heal. I had heard good things about similar products, and decided to give this one a try.It didn't take long for a small wound to occur. While taping off an old door frame for stripping/painting, a previously painted over section of splintered wound scratched my palm as it applied pressure to the painter's tape. Nothing serious, just enough to warrant leaning and trying out this spray. After cleaning it, I let the area dry and lightly sprayed it on the affected area. There was no stinging sensation or burning, just a short cold blast of the aerosol making contact with the skin. At first, it leaves a light sheen on the skin where you can see it's been applied, but quickly after a few seconds it's faded to appear like normal skin texture. The spray helped protect the wound while we carried on with our tasks, and after a few days, it was mostly healed.I think the 50ml is a great size, and it will last awhile, as you only need a short burst to small wound areas. It was nice that there wasn't any discomfort in applying, such as burning or stinging sensations from it coming in contact with the wound. It dries very quickly, so you can go on about your business, with wound protection! Great stuff, glad to have on hand when needed.

Good spray
Good barrier spray to spray after doing your daily face cleaning or after putting make up on. Feels like putting hair spray on face to be honest as it leaves that kind of feeling on it.

Works well with no sting
This is a nice barrier spray. It is easy to apply and the spray gives a fine mist. It dries in seconds and there is no sting at all, even in tender areas. Once applied it seems to last a long time and doesn't need replenishing, so that's a bit of a winner to me. The only down side is the price, which at £12.50 for a small 50 ml bottle, seems a little steep. However, it works well and does the job it's supposed to, so if you're after an effective product, it's certainly worth considering.

Not Barrier Cream but for under Dressings - protrect skin before dressing
This comes ina small easy to sp[ray aerosol can, but is not the sort of barrier cream I imagined - to use to protect hands fropm oils and dirt etc. It is to spray on UNBROKEN skins (so not grazes or open wounds either) prior to bandage application. SO a misleading or unclear listing IMO thats needs clarity.
