My wife had to take steroids for a stem cell transplant. The steroids made her skin tear easily. On top of that she takes Warafin/Coumadin (blood thinner/anti-coagulant) due to a blood clot she developed in her leg. She works in the kitchen alot and was always getting a scratch that would start bleeding and not stop. During a bad one we went to our local clinic and they put a Gelfoam Dental Sponge on it and the bleeding stopped right away and it soon healed. It worded great. This is a good product. The sponges can be cut.

It's an excellent product to have in case of an emergency. I use it at least every week in my office and my patients heal well and fast.
