Is this pan oven-safe?

Is this pan dishwasher safe?

Why does my pan get black stains over time?

The pan has a stainless steel base with an aluminum core. Over time, black stains can form because Aluminum reacts with dishwasher heat, strong detergents, or moisture, creating a dark (but safe) oxide layer that may rub off.

I have a 9" incher ( hehe) .....Pan. Joke aside, it's really good. I find if I do what others have suggested and NOT BURN the pan on HIGH, it works great and lasts. I used it a few times a week ( I only have the 8"electric coils ) and it works fine. Looks like NEW after months regular use. I never have used heat higher than 6 and mostly cook at around 5 1/2 (out of 10 max) . It's a great pan for non stick, just take care of it. For example, only use wood spatula or spoon. I'm thinking about buying / trying the bigger size. I don't know if it will heat evenly with a bigger size but I might try it.
