SYY 157 is by far the best thermal paste I have tested out of 14 different thermal paste brands!!!
EDIT/UPDATE - 03/16/2025Alright yall so I have an update. I have tested even more thermal paste brands. I have added 6 more brands to my testing as seen below. And I can confidently say that this paste SYY 157 is by far the best. This paste on average holds temperatures 3-4 degrees colder then all of these brands in the pictures I posted, with some being even more then that. I am on the hunt for thee absolute best thermal paste there is so I will update once I find more. Also I may start a YouTube channel in the future to give more detailed numbers and testing benchmarks. However the SYY 157 Paste is the best of all these and the price is really good also. Do not pay a bunch for the "big name" brands there are better pastes for a lot less. In order out of all these pastes in the pictures the best I have tested are as follows: SYY 157, Polar Therm, Maxtor CTG8, Kingpin KPX, Noctua NT-H2, Thermal Grizzly Kryonaut Extreme, and the rest of margin of error. You want the best, at least out of these SYY 157 and Polar Therm for sure. These tests were done on a Intel 285K - Z890 Ace - Lian Li Galahad II Lite - (note the galahad II lite is a beastly cooler and is my new top rated 360mm AIO previously was the EK Nucleus 360cr which I still use on my second setup.)So I test all different types of thermal paste. Currently I have a test bench w/ a 14900K and then my main PC is a Core Ultra 9 285K and I have been using Kingpin KPX which is a great paste however to my amazement this paste is holding lower temps by a significant amount about 4 degree C. I have a variety of different top tier pastes as you can see in the pictures they all perform very well. But honestly this paste is holding at idle and full load a lower temp. My second would be Kingpin followed by Noctua NT-H2 then the Thermal Grizzly Kryonaut Extreme. The Kryonaut is way overpriced though so I would ovoid this one and will once this jar is gone. This paste is cheap and it is outperforming the rest! I think I found my new go to all day use paste.Tip: For those who don't know a little trick is spread the paste evenly onto the CPU and then let it sit on the CPU for about 5-10 min then put the AIO on. I find this gives a lot better results and temps.Cheers!

Good stuff
The SYY 2 Grams CPU Paste Thermal is a reliable and efficient option for anyone looking to improve the cooling performance of their computer. This high-quality thermal paste is easy to apply and provides excellent heat conductivity, ensuring that your CPU stays cool under heavy loads. One of the key features of this thermal paste is its long-lasting performance. With a 2 grams tube, you can expect to get multiple applications out of it without needing to worry about it drying up or losing effectiveness over time. This makes it a cost-effective solution for keeping your CPU temperature in check. In addition, the SYY thermal paste is non-conductive, which means you don't have to worry about short-circuiting your components when applying it. This peace of mind is crucial when working on sensitive electronic devices like CPUs.Overall, the SYY 2 Grams CPU Paste Thermal is a solid choice for anyone looking to optimize their computer's cooling system. Its reliable performance, ease of use, and longevity make it a must-have for enthusiasts and professionals alike.

Pretty impressive results, well thought out extras
First off, was skeptical of the claims of 15.7W/m-k, but since I had been using the less than epic paste that comes standard on AIO's I figured I'd give it a shot. The results speak for themselves. The before and after tests were run with identical settings, the only thing that was changed is the thermal paste. I ran each test for five runs to ensure everything had heated up. As you can see, the peak temp dropped from 87.8 to 81.3. Because of this, the CPU (RYZEN 5800X) did not need to thermal throttle and the result was a nearly 400pt increase in Cinebench R23.In addition to the awesome performance, this kit included a cleaning wipe, CPU masks for several different sizes (even some that look like they're for VRM's) so you don't make a mess, and different spreading tools to ensure even coverage. The only con I've found so far is that if I were a newbie, there were no instructions on how they would suggest applying the paste. As with most thermal compounds, I expect conductivity performance to improve over the next week or so and will report back with those results once it has had time to set.Testing setup:AMD Ryzen 5800xMSI X570 Gaming PlusEVGA 360mm AIO (fans are set to pull on the back)Sapphire Nitro+ 6900xt32GB Corsair Vengence RAM1TB NVMe PCI Gen 31TB NVMe PCI Gen 4
