TAJ Mild Curry Powder 11-Blend Mix, 14-Ounce

I've not had the pleasure of eating a lot of curry in my lifetime, so I really don't know much about it. What I do know is that this powder adds a great flair to any not-dessert dish, even a sandwich!I love that the ingredients are so simple- pretty much straight up herbs/spices, no anti-caking agents or anything "unsavory" (if you'll excuse the pun) like that.This is the "mild" flavor, but if you're sensitive to chili heat I would recommend that you test it out with a small amount first until you find your proper taste amount, just to be safe.All that said, I'm really enjoying this blend of flavors so far.Thanks!

If you like Asian inspired recipes that are flavorful, this curry powder is exceptional! If you are looking to change your regular menu to something with more flavor, try looking up a recipe for curry fried rice to upgrade basic fried rice to something more exotic. This curry powder is very mild with an undertone of heat that presents after many bites. My family loved the curry additions. Spiciness (heat) is very subjective. From the perspective of a person in the USA this is not mild at all. At the very least it is medium/hot. My one child that loves Sriracha wouldn't even eat the coconut chicken curry I made.Personally I really like this curry. I love the heat that it brings. It is very flavorful and so have been eating the leftovers all week. Just read the ingredients and you'll get an idea of the flavor profile.This would be 5 stars for me if it wasn't marketed as mild.

This 14 oz package of curry powder is very good!It's mild, but definitely got a little kick and really good flavor to make a curry or add curry flavoring to a dish.Good ingredients. Really good taste. A lot of curry and a good value -While I'd prefer a resealable container - the value and taste are good enough for me to put it in an airtight ziploc or spice container and think more about what I'm going to make with it!5-stars.

I'm a big fan of curry powder and like to add it to anything I can get away with. This brand has a really good flavor, great but mild punch to it. Added a tablespoon to some marinara sauce and it greatly elevated the flavor. Plus you get a good amount in this bag, managed to pack a good size canister with it.

I love using curry powder to add some character to my cuisine. I ran out of the one I bought at a local fancy organic store, so I thought to get this one. It's really a fraction of the price tooThis is a pretty big package, 14 oz so a little less than 1lb. The bag is not resealable. Ingredients are the basic "curry spices" : Coriander, Turmeric, Salt, Fenugreek, cumin, curry leaves, cinnamon, ginger, clove, black pepper, garlicLet me just say that this tastes great! It is "mild" as advertised and turns everything including my pans bright yellow. It tastes exactly the way it should, none of the spices stand out more than it should -- and there's not much more to say other than that it's good!

This is labeled as mild, but it still has quite a bit of heat to it. Chilies are in the ingredients, but not the top ingredient. The package I received is more brown and less red in color as compared to the photo in the product listing, which suggests to me that it has less chili. The bag arrived sealed. I emptied into glass jars because the bag is not resealable. It took up over a quart of jar space. I made a little soup with it, but I noticed more chili than curry flavor.

This curry powder is very flavorful, and if I had wanted a hot curry powder it would be great, but I had wanted a mild curry as my 6 year old is still working on her heat tolerance. My husband likes very hot spices and he also found it to be spicy hot, but likes the flavor. This also tastes salty, but the ingredients do not list salt and the sodium content on the nutritional information shows 0mg, but that can not be accurate. So, while I like this curry powder, I don’t like that the ingredients list is inaccurate, because it makes me think: what else does it contain that is not listed?
