When I first came across this electric fly trap I was totally mesmerised at how totally innovated and creative the design and concept of this fly trap worked. I first saw a video of a swarm, no it was a herd of flies hovering around one of these fly traps and you could see them land on The Sweet Spot which is where you put the nasty smelling treat that they love. Then the outside plastic slowly turns and sweeps them into the Trap below. Totally amazing video that they showed online and I was hooked and couldn't wait to order one.I thought this was a rather unique fly trap but after looking at all of the offerings it seems like everybody in Southeast Asia either owns or sell these things cuz they are everywhere yet I have never seen one before the video. Since it was a imported product from China some of the selections would have taken months to receive so I went for the least expensive and one I would receive in the shortest amount of time.Now I am only speaking about MY personal experience and I am not discrediting the functionality of this fly trap. The concept and creativity is absolutely outstanding.I received my fly trap and set it out on the patio and plugged it into an outside Outlets. I then set the fly trap on a patio table. We live in an apartment complex and we have plenty of flies outside out back. The flytrap has been out on the patio for almost two weeks and I have not caught one fly. I've used peanut butter, honey, and that nasty smelling fish whatever packet they give you with the fly trap but I swear to God the Flies or laughing at me!Not that it was a total loss I did manage to catch a centipede.

Bought this as a joke since seeing ads all over the place. It arrived on a slow boat from China in a month or something like that. I honestly forgot and it was like a present arrived. So you’ve read the other reviews so I won’t tell you the obvious BUT guess what? I caught flies!! Now I placed it in a place that had a lot to choose from and yes I did watch some escape but it worked! I think we counted 12 in there after a week next to a traditional fly trap which was completely full in a week.

That stuff you included doesn’t work, had to use dog poo, caught a few, doesn’t catch as many as I thought it would.

And, there are no directions whatsoever. . . unless you can read Chinese, which I can not! I will try to actually use this, once I figure out how to attach it to a USB charging cord that I then plug in to an extension cord in order to position this “fly trap” where it’s needed. At this point, I’m not at all confident that this will even work. Edited to add: IT DOESN’T WORK! DOES NOT EVEN TURN ON! I AM RETURNING THIS PIECE OF JUNK! What a waste of time and money!

When I originally ordered item I was very excited about my purchaseOnce I received item I was truly disappointed1. No instruction2. No power plug only USB ???I have not even tried item just going to return before I get upset 😡

Feces. Looks like some sort of rodent type. That is the bait included in this trap. Unfortunately, the bag of feces was open and poured out all over my kitchen counter when I opened the package. Worst thing I’ve ever bought, EVER.

I had high hopes for this product but it is complete garbage. Watched a fly get "trapped" but it did't go into the compartment, just rode it until it squeezed out from in between a fin. Mine squeals and runs roughly. No instructions, just a box with foreign writing all over it. Usb plug so it would have to use an extension cord to run outside.

If I leave my garage door open for 1 hour everyday, I'm able to see at least 2-3 flies flying into my house. With this fly trap device with the included bait on it, running over 2 days, it did not capture any of the flies. I have to use my original/antique fly swatter to kill them. Then, I also left the trap device outside right next to my 96 gallon trash can for 3 days with extension power cable, it still did not capture any fly. I have to say that I'm very disappointed because I bought 2 trap devices at a time.
