My son just started playing in the minor c’s and needed something better than a T. This took care of his batting practices, working on his swings. It was easy to assemble and take down. The quality is unbelievable! It is very stable when he hits it. The entire thing is heavy and stays in place.

In my opinion, this is a basic batting trainer for beginning to intermediate skill levels. The assembly is durable but can be dislodged from the ground when using the ground anchors, and the ground anchors cannot be used on paved surfaces or when used indoors; You'd need to switch over to sandbags or something similar. The ball height can be adjusted, but that takes a moment each time an adjustment is needed which could be time-consuming if multiple players are waiting for batting time. The overall quality is good, assembly was fairly quick but a bit confusing at times. A durable item that's best suited for a single player wanting to work on contact drills at home.

My son started baseball this year, and his coach suggested that all the kids practice their swings. We don't have much space in our yard, so this device came in handy! I also think this may be a good outlet for wintertime practice, or as a "gym class" supplement for my homeschooled children.

Assembling this product was not too difficult. It took me about 15 minutes to assemble everything with the help of my husband. There are loops that go around the bottom beam to hold it in to the ground. From our experience, the metal loop only stuck in the ground with very small hits using hardly any force. Once my son hit the ball a bit harder, the loop came out of the ground. The balls that attach to the hanging arm started to get worn away after the first day so I am not sure how long this item will hold up in the long run. So far, the ball has stayed attached to the cord, but it does not seem very durable. I will update my review regarding the long term durability of the product as we continue to use it more and more. The product requires a lot of set up and it is not compact, so transportability is limited once it is set up. Of course it can be broken down, but it’s a bit of a hassle. My little one was able to get some decent practice hits. The only activity we were able to perform using this machine is practice hits. There aren’t many other activities that can be done using this product. The price is a bit high based on the quality and usefulness.

My nephews are both very into baseball. They love this thing so much it even made an appearance on their social media!It's really sturdy. They can swing and walk without any fear of loosing their ball or hitting something they shouldn't.They both feel they have made improvements batting by using this for training. It might be the best gift I've ever given them!
