hard plastic,sturdy and odor-free.my kids love them and often take them to class to play with their classmates.

can the rug be washed?can it let two kids play on it at the same time?

i wash the mat by hand, do not machine wash. my daughter often plays with her two friends.the zoo mat was larger than others.
