This product is just plain flat-leaf parsley, cut in medium-sized flakes; I can't tell if it's really premium, but it adds a nice flavor to my dishes. I have tried many spices and herbs from the Simply Organic brand and they are always great quality.I like that the cut is medium-sized, not very powdery, it almost adds a nice bite once the flakes are re-hydrated.The color is more like a dark green, not a bright green.The flakes are very dry; the parsley works great for cooking (soup, casseroles, stews, etc.), not so much for sprinkling on salads or pasta.I try to be more conscious about the environment and what I eat, and this product is in line with my lifestyle.I focus as much as possible organic spices and herbs, and I trust that Simply Organic is certified organic. I like to support brands that support both the people and the planet.I also like that the product comes in a glass bottle with a metal lid (both recyclable); the bottle is very good quality and can be reused once the parsley is finished. Off course, it comes with a plastic seal and a plastic sieve, but it's still better then those 100% plastic bottles.Note: It's great that I can simply add Simply Organic spices in with my Amazon orders, but the price fluctuates a lot; sometimes these are a great deal compared with my local grocery stores, sometimes they spike up to an unreasonable amount.

Would not cook Mexican/Southwest without it. Began using the Simply Organic brands many years ago when I first discovered it at the Whole Foods Market at the Alamo Quarry in San Antonio, TX (THE BEST Hispanic city in the USA!). Its flavor & freshness, for a dried, shelf product, are terrific. This product, along with ground cumin & chilis are an absolute must for "THE FLAVOR"! I find the Simply Organic cilantro to be more concentrated so I use less in each dish. One may not notice its particular flavor when properly portioned in a dish; however, without it, you'll definitely notice that "something is missing"! You may find it to be a bit pricey, but, with this brand, for most of their products, you definitely get what you pay for!

The herb smells fresh. I like the glass jars, which I'd guess makes this quantity a bit pricey. When I couldn't find ANY parsley in my usual shopping outlet, I'm happy with this purchase.

Simply Organic is a great brand and I keep ordering this cilantro. The jar was filled to the very top when I opened it!

So good and throw it into almost every food and been sitting in the pantry for months and still fresh as the day they arrived.
