Value for money, quality good and good all round use

I ordered these scissors to use for a project I am starting, I would have a lot of fabric to cut, so I needed scissors that are sharp, and comfortable to use.The scissors arrived in a shrink wrapped, card packaging, so were easy to open, without needing another pair of scissors to do it, which is a pet gate of mine. I was hoping the scissors would be comfortable to use, and the large (fabric) scissors are extremely comfortable to use, the smaller ones which thankfully I infrequently use for cutting threads etc are really not at all comfortable to use, as the finger holes are small and made from hard plastic with no cushioning.The set is priced at £9.99, with a 40% voucher making them just short of £6, so I would be happy to pay that for the large pair alone, as they are sharp, as well as comfortable, but the smaller pair is sadly not of the same quality.Overall the big pair is amazing, the small pair although sharp really isn't great to use for any length if time, but I'm still happy to recommend them, just based on how nice the larger pair is.

We never seem to have enough pairs of scissors in the house, I ordered these to use for day to day tasks rather than purely cutting fabric. They are really well made and I imagine if you are needing precise cuts for fabric then they will be ideal.I am used to buying our scissors from a well known shop for £1 a pair, these are definitely a cut above that (if you will pardon the pun) and will last a lot longer than the others I buy.As I review these there is a discount offer which makes them even better value, I really like the scissors but I question whether I would pay for the full amount when for my use they aren't for fabric.

Although these scissors are listed as for fabric use I am using them for general household tasks.They are a good weight and the joint has just the right tightness, not too loose or tight. In conjunction with sharp blades they make light work of the basic tasks I've used them for.The finger holes are comfortable for me, not the most padded but given the cost of £9.99 when purchased they are good.

None of us found these scissors at all comfortable. It's a bit hard to pin down but the shape of the finger holes is odd, not particularly well sculpted and they're not pleasant to use as a result.They're fairly sharp but I don't feel like they're very good quality blades at all. They're not bottom tier but for sewing and material I'd want much higher quality scissors than this in general.In any case, I can't recommend them because they're not comfortable and if you're actually sewing it's probably your hobby and you do it a lot. In that case, it's worth investing in good quality scissors and the like.

I'm really impressed by this set! Amazing value and these are SHARP but not dangerously so. They cut fabric fantastically but I've also used them for cardboard and paper and they're so nice to use. They're heavy because they're well-mad and quality. But they're not uncomfortable to use at all. For two pairs of great scissors, the price is brilliant.

Whilst these scissors are very good I prefer to use them as general household scissors rather than for fabric.Both pairs are super sharp and cut smoothly. They’re not too heavy, and, being made of durable stainless steel, should last a good number of years.Unfortunately I do find the handles rather uncomfortable. They’re fine for cutting wrapping paper, thread, tape etc but feel hard if cutting something thicker like cardboard or if using for an extended period. The holes in the smaller pair are quite small so I can only use one finger in each which makes them a tad trickier to use (having said this my daughter has slimmer fingers and is fine with them!).Overall they are worth their price of £9.99 plus a 40% voucher because they’re handy for everyday use. I would want to invest in a pair with a crisper cut and softer handle for material cutting though.

Currently priced at 13 dollars for the set, this is within the range of acceptable value. The quality of the scissors are pretty average, they'll get the job done from time to time, of course you still have to sharpen them if you still want it to cut well over time.This is certainly more of a shipped to the door convenience item, not a specialized professional product.
