It's a good costume.
My 6 yo had a folklore dress up day at school and he chose to be a cowboy from one of the stories they read. I really struggled on which costume to order since there were quite a few to choose from and the reviews for all of them were pretty all over the place. I ultimately settled on this one due to the amount of pieces that came in the set and it had the most cowboy-like character with the fringe, chaps look, bandana, hat, etc . I'm happy with it. I ordered the 8-10 size for my son even though this is a size up from his normal size (he's size 6 in pants, 7 in shirts) and I'm glad I did. The pants were just a few inches too long and maybe a tad wide but I'd prefer this over being too short and too tight. Plus we've got growing room! The vest fit perfectly; I didn't find that it looked too big at all. The costume came vacuum sealed and I initially thought the hat is not going to spring back to life. But it did! The material is typical and what you would expect of a costume but it's well constructed. Overall it's a decent costume and I would recommend it for anyone looking to dress as a cowboy.
