This handmade purple Danmark / Denmark brooch - pin is an upcycled piece of a 1960s UK hand cut wood puzzle map and the wearable history pin is a idea for a gift under $50! The G.J. Hayter & Co. LTD "Victory Plywood Jig Saw Puzzle of Industrial Life in Europe" was a hand cut wood jigsaw puzzle map made from 1963 to 1967. All the wood pieces of the jigsaw puzzles were hand cut, and the individual countries were cut to shape. I think the hand cut nature of the puzzle, as well as the colorful graphics, is so unique. The Danmark - Denmark brooch pin measures 1-1/4" (3.175cm) by 7/8" (2.225cm) in size, and has a locking pin back clasp securely affixed to the back. The brooch will be shipped on card stock that has a pictures of the puzzle header and a brief history of the G.J. Hayter Company and their hand cut wooden jigsaw puzzles.
