I was SO BUMMED when Body Shop went out of business in the U.S. and I thought I'd never find this scent again without traveling to the U.K. Based on the reviews, I was worried this might be old and the scent not as potent. This still smells great and the consistency of the butter feels like new.

I'm feeling really disappointed that TBS is no longer available in the USA, particularly in Nebraska. I used to love being able to visit their stores, and their products are truly top-of-the-line. Unlike many other brands, TBS products work wonders for me, and the scents are absolutely wonderful without being overpowering or triggering my migraines. One of my absolute favorites is the OLIVE scent. It's fresh, clean, and just the right amount of intensity. The body butter is incredibly moisturizing without leaving any greasy or sticky residue, and the fact that it's vegan is just the cherry on top!

Disappointed that the Body shop shut down their stores in the US and i have to order the product on line and all of the previous sizes and scents ar no longer available.

I purchased this body butter several times because it is so soothing on very dry skin. After being in the elements outside, it feels like a spa treatment to use it. I also like the fragrance, which seems milder than many other products that I’ve tried. I use it on very dry skin…rather sparingly (1-2times per week)…and a container lasts several months for me. It is thick, but not oily, sticky feeling. It absorbs into the skin. I’ve used it on legs,arms, and torso…not my face.

I love the smell of this olive oil body butter, and it leaves my skin feeling smooth and soft. Unfortunately, all the Body Shops around here have closed, and I could only order it online. It now apparently comes from the UK. I should buy a ton of it in case it gets discontinued like most of the products I like.

I’ve used THE BODY SHOP Olive Body Butter for 20 years, and it was a great product.When this revamped lotion arrived I thought it came by mistake. It’s a whole different “butter”.-Looks different.-Feels different.-Smells different.I don’t know why they felt it necessary to scrap the old formula and then try to peddle this new junk. It’s even become VEGAN somehow; not sure that’s an upgrade since the new stuff is way less lotiony and more of a paste.*Also comes in a smaller portion, down 6.75 ounces to 6.4.I’m sure accountants/bean counters are behind the new product, but it’s a FAIL on many levels.
