Good product and great Tier 2 customer support
I just want to mention that I had some problems connecting Ray5 to Lightburn on WiFi (while USB connection worked fine) and reached out to customer support. Initially, I was pointed to some online resources that didn't help to fix the problem I had - Lightburn would not connect to Ray2 20W due to port 23 being disable in the firmware (found out later on, while next level support was engaged). It took some time to get to the next level support, which is very knowledgeable and gave me the solution. They sent me the .bin file and was able to re-enable port 23 (telnet) by updating the firmware they sent me. It is just the hassle that you have to explain first level support and they would not understand the problem at all. I will give it 5 starts, because at the end it fixed the problem.

Focus, Focus, Focus!
After doing much research I purchased the Longer Ray5 10 watt laser to upgrade from my 5 watt laser. The Longer is a more powerful laser and burns quicker. Once adjusted it burns a fine line and makes beautiful art. The only problem I have with the Longer is the adjusting of the focus. You have to put a block in the back of the module to focus and it has to be sitting perfectly level. If it is not sitting perfect it will print double lines and mess up the whole project! I would like to see them come up with a way to focus where you could see the focus tool. But if you are a beginner or just want a hobby like me the Longer Ray5 10 Watt laser engraver is a good buy for the price.

It's an excellent laser, and the best part is the service and warranty.
It is a good laser, please i need this part, (Image). The thread broke while I was putting it on. . where i can find parts for this product. This is the third (2 of 10 W. and this) laser brand I've bought, and I like this one much better because it has travel sensors, plus the official service is excellent

Campfire !!!
I've had my LongerRay5 10W Laser for a couple of months now. I've tried i think every different type of material on their list, engraving & cutting. At first, I used only the factory recommended settings. then, started tweaking with settings just like they recommend doing. I only have 1 issue. it's a pretty important issue though. it is that not ONCE did this machine ever engrave anything that you could tell what it was even. Everything no matter what I tried came out either burnt. super fuzzy. Blurry lines. or no lines at all - nothing. As Far As Cutting goes. I would not cut anything it said it would. I take that back. i apologize. it did cut the leg off of a pair of blue jeans (Denim). I find it kind of odd that some of these manufacturers will boost about a 1 or even 2-year warranties but the mighty Amazon cuts them down to their 30-day return window. after that 30 days Amazon tends to cut all ties between you and manufacturer. especially with their little Troubleshoot your own problems Trick they have. any whooo For $300.00 Bucks guys N Gals its my own personal recommendation that you take those 3- bills and use them to light you a campfire with and roast you some hotdogs & marshmallows ! You'll get a lot more enjoyment out of your money. Thanks for listening......

Buena calidad. Soy nuevo en esto y logré hacerla funcionar sin problemas. El hecho de tener WiFi es realmente muy cómodo y el soft que proveen parece aceptable. Ahora es cuestión de seguir aprendiendo. Muy conforme con el equipo.

ease of operation
Good unit, it is a nice entry engraver unit. you can do alot of things without getting into a $1000.00 plus machine and if you are not sure if you want to step up to a machine that is going to cost the price of a used car you can upgrade the laser module would recommend air assist and limit switches. the focus adjustment is a little hard to adjust too

Bad customer support
Took a while to get it going but I work good. Only downside is customer support was horrible, never was able to talk to anyone and never received email replies.
