Positive Thinking
This is a great guide to calming your thoughts and finding your inner peace. What I thought was really helpful and different about this particular book was the case studies at the end of each chapter and the workbooks at the end of each chapter to help you recognize your own thought patterns. Also each chapter has a summary and the ultimate takeaway from the teachings. It is a good book to revisit more than once.

Love the workbook exercises
Mindfulness is the hot topic these days and as I continue to practice mindfulness and helpOthers along on their journey, I found this book to be very helpful and informative. This book walks through different cognitive disorders and the impact negative thoughts have on mental health. Mindfulness practices and Positive psychology principles were walked through to help decrease negative thoughts and improve mental health. I enjoyed the practical workbooks at the end of each chapter and then the takeaways to really help you understand the important points within each chapter. This book will be a great resource for me to reference as needed.

Stop overthinking
This book is an excellent resource for anyone who battles negative self-talk. I feel like most people do, at one point or another in their lives. However, this book was a timely read for me. My negative self-talk stems from trauma and I am on a healing journey. This book will help tremendously. I also plan to share it with my husband. In the past few years, he’s grown to hate his profession in medicine and sadly has developed a habit of overthinking, negative thoughts, etc. and it affects everyone around him. I’m hoping this book and its guidance will bring him some insight and much-needed peace.

Wonderful Tools
I have been a self-help and mindfulness nerd for quite some time. I love how practical and useful this book is. There are case studies littered throughout the book as well as "Workbook" questions at the end of each section that really lends itself well to actually applying the tools instead of just thinking about them.I received a free copy of this book via Booksprout and am voluntarily leaving a review.

Very meaningful and powerful read
This book is great for those who are trying to be more mindful. The book gives some greats advice to help better understand your emotions. The book is an easy but meaningful read. Some parts seem to be said over and over which made it hard to stay interested at times but it is a great self help book for understanding and managing emotions. As a self help book I did expect there to be more sections for you to fill out on your own. This would be great with each section as it would make you stop and think and go over what you read.

Helpful mental health resource
I wasnt sure what to expect when I got this book. I was hoping for a better self help guide and I was surprised to find that and more. It provides a comprehensive look at how our minds and thoughts most specifically negative thoughts affect our mental health. What's great about this book is it gives us the help in our laymans terms. The author gives you a simple, step-by-step guide to changing your negative thoughts/thinking into a positive one. CBT, breathing, mindfulness, and more are just a few helpful excercises he provides for us to use to help find peace and change.
