White Piggy Steamer - Multipurpose Lid for Steaming, Covering, and Opening Jars

I swear by this product for microwaving almost anything in a bowl. Easy to clean, keeps microwave clean, keeps food HOT

I wish I'd bought this long before I did, it's so useful. It's perfect for covering a bowl of soup or other leftovers. (We use the IKEA 365+ soup bowls and it fits exactly.) It holds tight to the bowl and I've never had any spillover. I don't have to clean the microwave as often and the lid itself is very easy to clean. Before this, we were using parchment paper, and it would always blow off and leave the bowl uncovered and ready to explode food all over the microwave. One month after getting this smaller size, I ordered the larger one.

I've used my piggy lid frequently over the last three years and have liked it until recently. It has gradually stopped clinging to the bowl and now does allow sputters and spills in the microwave. I am getting a replacement one but very disappointed it didn't work well for a longer time.

Perfect for keeping in splashes in the microwave … and seeing the steam exit the piggy’s nose is fun. Identical / same manufacturer as available from a well-known cooking show that evaluates and sells cooking gear; their top-rated model at half the cost. I agree.

I already have this little guy and I so love the convenience.Bought this for my Mom-In-Law after seeing her with her pieces of wax paper reheating left-overs. I do not know why I never noticed before.This is so handy. I have space on top of the microwave so he sits up there watching until it's time for him to work. Clean up is super easy. A drip of soap and quick scrub and hot water rinse and he is ready again.I have used him for many tomato based dishes and he is still white and purty.if you use your microwave for reheating soups and beverages this little guy is super handy!

These are the greatest things! (There are 2 sizes and I've bought both.) My pot lids sputter all over the cooktop and counter no matter how I try to weight them down. These let the excess steam out of the nostrils instead which is great. Many users just put chopsticks in the nostrils to lift them, but I use tongs so I can peek underneath and/or remove them. The larger one is more versatile as the small one is very small. I gave the large one as gifts this holiday because I like it so much! BTW they are dishwasher safe.

This is small, simple, and perfect to put on many items that you want to heat up in your microwave. It washes well OR can go on the top rack of the dishwasher which again makes this an easy product to use. I have several of them so I am never without one. And when you use it in your microwave for heating items you not only save on paper towels (you don't use them for covering your items) you also don't have to clean your microwave as often because food doesn't splatter.

Great at eliminating splatters in the microwave. Will fit a cereal-size bowl. I've gotten tomato sauce on it, which came out in the dishwasher. And, it's cute.
