My go to
This is my go-to for tear away. I don’t even know how many rolls I’ve been through. My favorite by far.

Thick Paper Feel and Sticky Embroidering
Update: I used this on a few projects that I was working on. Because it is so papery, but thick, it ended up not working as well as I would have liked. As the needle passed through the fabric, then through it, it stuck to the needle, so that the thread came back up. I will use this for other projects, but it did not work as well as other stabilizer I normally use (Brand name begins with an F and ends with an i). I guess when you go for something less expensive, you do pay for it one way or another. Very frustrating.I usually use one of two other brands for tearaway stabilizer, but I am working on a project, that I needed tearaway stabilizer for, but I did not need it to be high quality. At $20 for 50 yards, and 12" wide, I figured it would be a perfect resource, and for what I need it to be, it is perfect. However, if I were doing embroidery on clothing, or any other important project, I would not suggest this product. It definitely is very papery, and feels like a very stiff paper towel.I knew that it would be like this when I ordered it, and for what I am doing, which is making greeting cards, it is a perfect support. It does tear easy, and it supports the paper wonderfully, so, for my project, it fits the bill wonderfully. However, keep in mind that you get what you pay for, and considering what I am using it for, it is perfect.I am giving it three stars, not because it is a bad item, but it is sufficient. It would not work well, in my opinion, for clothing, high density stitches, or any majorly important project.

Perfect fit for 8" hoop for Babylock Alliance
I have a Babylock Alliance, and I make a ton of patches every week. I tried getting the precut 12x12 squares, but my 8" hoop is wider than it is long, so it doesn't quite fit the hoop right. I bought a huge roll that was like 14", but it ended up being too big and I was always cutting off a few inches on the side. This size roll however fits perfectly. I'm probably going to also get a roll of the cut-away for the patches with more fill areas.

Works well but doesn't always tear away cleanly
I use this in 10" and 12" widths in as big a roll as I can find. I find it a very good value for the money - and the product works as advertised. I do like this much better than the 'spongy' type with holes in it.It can be a little difficult to remove on some things and doesn't always tear away cleanly. I have to take out the tweezers to get to some areas. It also leaves a bit of fuzzy fibers around the edges. Not sure how many other tear away stabilizers exist or if they are all like this one. Currently is is the only tearaway I use but I'll try others that I come across for comparison.

Good stabilizer
I ordered the wrong one, intending to get cutaway, but I'm finding plenty of use for this. Returning it would have been a hassle, and I'm glad I didn't. You still need cutaway stabilizer for things like towels and knits or whatever that might be stretchy or for designs that have a lot of close stitching, but most lighter duty items work out great with this.
