Using mine first time today in my newly renovated guest bathroom. I can see this will come in handy for warm winter bubble baths… Still learning all the uses for different compartments but found one for my wine glass and ipad!

Not as sturdy and nice as I thought

Update: I’ve used this about 3-4 times and it is already falling apart. The crack has widened and it has become unstable. Do not recommend at all! I was excited for this to arrive but when I out it together I noticed that it had rust on all the metal spots on it. 😢

I don't take baths that often, but when I do, I like to bring a book with me, but am always afraid of getting it wet and making sure my hands are completely dry when holding it. This bathtub tray caddy is exactly what I've been missing. We have a really wide bathtub, so it's helpful that this caddy expands the entire width without worry of it falling into the water. It was easy to assemble, but I wish it folded back up without taking it apart again. It comes with a (cheap) bag for storage, but the bag is useless unless you unscrew everything again, which I am not going to do each time. And the book holder/stand doesn't attach to the caddy; it just slides into the slot to stand it up. This isn't convenient for putting it in storage either. So, overall I would definitely prefer it more collapsible without having to take pieces apart. I do love the teak wood, though, which is waterproof and used for outdoor furniture.

I've been looking to get a teak bathtub tray for some time now, so when I saw this, I was really excited to try it out. While it's a good concept and has a lot of different compartments, I am pretty disappointed in the overall quality. First, it seemed like the product had been packaged for quite some time because all of the metal hardware was covered in rust. It takes away from the aesthetics since some of the rusted hardware is visible on the top of the tray, and it doesn't give me much confidence in how long it will last considering these trays are inevitably going to be exposed to water. The hardware should have been coated so that it is water resistant. Also, the wood came extremely dried out, causing it to feel somewhat rough and scratchy to the touch. I had teak oil on hand and gave it a good dousing, but it isn't perfect. It came with a white storage bag, but it was very discolored (I'm assuming from long term storage) and I opted to toss it. It also had a weird smell to it. Having said all that, the tray is large and fits across my garden tub perfectly. It comes with nonstick pads that you attach to the bottom, which stops it from moving around when in use. The tray has a bunch of compartments - my two favorites being the slide out wine holder which keeps your glass secure and prevents it from tipping - and the book/tablet holder on the back that folds down flat when you're not using it. The book holder is secure and stable. The sides of the tray slide in and out easily as well. In summary, it will serve its purpose fine for the time being, but I can't help but be a little disappointed in the overall quality - especially considering the higher price point.
