Once i apply this to my heavy clay soil will i ever need to keep buying this product ? or is it a buy once fix ?

My veg patch is 4 metres x 4 metres I turned it over and spread 25kg over it and then rotavated the area, three days later I did the same again. The clay soil had definitely improved and was more manageable. Cannot see the need to add more gypsum.

Does this bag of gypsum come in a cardboard box?

No it came in a bag, it’s very heavy

Is the bag plastic or paper please? I'd want to store some for later use

Paper / thin card bag same as plaster. Was delivered in a plastic bag though so I’ve been able to store it without issue

What is the magnesium (Mg) content of this product, if stated?

Sorry the spec sheet doesn't specify the Mg. It is Calcium sulphate dihydrate, 85% minimum gypsum purity, 7 pH and its Chemical Composition is CaSO4.2H2O. Agricultural Gypsum is a CE fertiliser grade gypsum obtained from naturally occurring mineral. It is used in a variety of agricultural applications including as a carrier for horticultural dressings, as a mushroom composting ingredient, as a soil improver and in land reclamation after salt water flooding.
