From the get go I was impressed with this product. It was packaged well in a box that was snug to keep it from rattling around. Assembly time took roughly 10-15 minutes. I was surprised by this because it was in such a compact box, I thought I'd have to do way more with it before it could be used. The compactness is actually great for storing purposes because it won't take up a lot of space in my shed. The overall piece is super lightweight and easy to maneuver or carry somewhere. I know it's new, but it looks really nice. My family is on the talker side, so being able to easily adjust the height was important. It was incredibly easy to figure out and do.We've used the dethatcher once and it did a good job working our really bumpy lawn. I'm looking forward to seeing if, with continued use, it helps even out the bumps in the lawn with the scarifier side of this.Overall very happy with this purchase as it held up well to our bumpy, tough yard and look forward to getting lots of use out of it in the coming months. Family members are even requesting to borrow it!

Lightweight but powerful, suggest start at the highest setting for both dethatching and scarafier… I first mowed lawn at lowest setting on lawn mower and used de thatcher on #2 setting… like others have said the catch bag fills quick, and needed to empty every 3-4 passes… but I do not find this to be a big issue, as it’s very easy to remove and empty catch bag. I dumped half the dethatch material in my compost pile and the rest in my yard green waste bin, which I kept close by… after dethatching I made one pass over my lawn with the scarier at the highest setting in preparation for re-seeding my lawn this spring! Handle folds up to reduce space and stores easy… I would recommend this product to a friend.

The media could not be loaded. It only took me about 10 minutes to unpackage and assemble this dethatcher. It was very easy to assemble and included a step-by-step guide with images. I was excited to try it out and put it into action right away. I attached the dethaching rotor and set the deck height to one. It is really easy to change the deck height or in other words to change how deep the detacher or the other rotor dig in. It is also really easy to swap out the rotor, there is one screw. I lived in my home for many years and have never dethached my lawn. I took one walk down the yard as you see in the video about 20 ft and so much old grass came out that the bag filled up to about 1/4. It works very well and efficiently. The motor seems very powerful, I didn't notice any type of hesitation. The grass bag is easy to detach and reattach, it basically drops in and there's a spring loaded cover that holds it down. The machine is nice and wide yet it folds up very compact and even comes with a wall mount. This machine is very durable and I think it will last me forever. It's a great value and I can certainly recommend it.

The instructions that came with the machine were really easy to understand in order to assemble the unit. All of the parts fit perfectly to the machine, except that one part of the the stitching on the catcher bag was coming a part. Since I was eager to use the machine, I duct taped the part where the stitching came loose and set to work using the machine on my lawn. The dead moss and grass came up quickly after a few passes and I ended up with 2.5 yard bins full of dead moss and grass. The key thing is that this unit did not tear up the healthy grass that usually gets torn up using a commercial gas powered thatcher. Definitely worth the price and the unit works well. I sent a message to the manufacturer to order a replacement bag that should be clearly under warranty. Happy Spring!

As someone who’s disabled with shorter arms (up to the elbows), finding lawn equipment that’s both effective and easy for me to use can be a challenge—but this dethatcher and aerator really impressed me.Assembly was simple, and one of the best features is how adjustable the handle is. I was able to set it to the perfect height, which made operating it much more comfortable. The machine itself is lightweight but solid, and it did a fantastic job pulling up thatch and loosening the soil. It left my yard looking much cleaner and healthier after just one pass.It’s also compact enough to store easily, and the green and black design is a nice bonus. I’m really happy with this purchase—5 out of 5 stars from me. It’s great to find equipment that works well and is also accessible.
