So let me start off by explaining why I got this product in the first place. For the past 5 or 6 years I have had issues with my scalp. In between washes, my hair would get extremely oily & have a weird smell to it. My family said they didn’t smell it, but I could smell it & it would make me self conscious. After I wash it, it would get extremely itchy. And when I say extremely, I mean, like I wanted to claw my scalp off, itchy. And I have tried everything!! Nothing would work, except for one product that came in a tiny little bottle & was super expensive. Well, I came across this amazing product about a month ago. And it has literally changed my hair, my scalp & my confidence!!! It says on the jar to use it 1-2 times a week. And so far, I have only used it just once (a few weeks ago) & I haven’t had to use it since then. (And yes I’ve washed my hair since then) My scalp has not itched AT ALL!!! It feels so amazing!! It doesn’t smell, it feels so fresh & clean & it has literally put volume & shine back into my once limp, dull hair. When I used it, I scooped out some of the product & put it on my scalp (while my hair is wet) & massaged it in with my fingers until it got really sudsy. Then I used the little spiky silicone, scrub brush that came with it. And to be honest, I was a little worried about the brush at first because it is softer than I thought it would be. I assumed it would be stiffer. But nonetheless, it did the job! I left it in for just a few minutes, wet it & massaged it some more before I rinsed it out really well. It had a very cool, fresh, minty feel to it & it felt SO good! As I was rinsing my hair out, it was literally squeaky, squeaky clean!! Honestly, my hair hasn’t looked or felt this good in years! This product is absolutely amazing & I highly recommend it!! I wish I would’ve taken before & after photos. I may just add ‘after’ photos or a video later. I assume that my scalp issue was probably due to buildup. I really don’t use a lot of product in my hair, but I do dye my roots every 3-6 months. So my guess is that’s what could’ve caused the issue originally. But if you have build up, itchy scalp, or oily scalp. TRY THIS PRODUCT!!!! I’m telling you, it is absolutely amazing!

I never write reviews, but this one is worth the effort. I was trying this before I bought my usual product brand’s pricier version to see if I liked the feel and made a difference in my scalp concern. It lathers nicely, got my hair soooo clean-squeaky-like someone else mentioned. I probably won’t use it nearly as often as jar suggests (1-2x/wk) just bc it seemed to be so clarifying that my hair would get dry. I have been having a lot of scalp pain, I don’t wear tight hair styles or do aggressive blow outs, don’t have medical conditions related to it, etc, I had tried everything else to try to relieve the pain and read product buildup can cause it so thought I’d try a more intense scalp treatment than my usual clarifying shampoo. I don’t use an abundance of products generally, use high quality products when I do and double cleanse with high quality shampoo every wash, so I was shocked that this made my scalp pain go almost completely away with one use. Kind of a niche use for me, but this was a realllllly nice product generally and the price point is great. The smell is as you’d expect. The scalp brush was nice, but nothing different than others I’ve used. Def worth a try!

Got this for itchy scalp on advice of a friend. I have tried several different products and this is the only one that made any difference. I have extremely dry skin and also allergies. Very nice mild botanical scent. Scrub is medium, not too rough but enough to exfoliate. I wet hair, use scrub with included brush, rince well, then shampoo and condition as normal. I also use on dry skin on my body (without scrub brush).

I love this stuff. I get a good lather out of it. The smell is nice and it worked wonders on my itchy scalp that was caused by using the same styling product in my hair all week which my body decided it did not appreciate. I will keep this on hand at all times. My hair is always soft and shiny after using.

I’ve been using this scalp scrub 3 times a week for 3 months now, and I absolutely love what it has done for my hair and scalp. My hair feels squeaky clean, bouncy and healthy. My shedding has stopped and I have an amazing amount of new growth. The scrub is easy to use, the lather is insane, and the smell is really nice. I’ll never be without this product, ever.

I actually really like this stuff. Since I started peri-menopause a few years ago-my head sweats like no other. The sweats clog my pores and cause all sorts of sores and issues. Nothing was helping to take the extra oils away. This stuff helps. My hair feels clean and it smells great! I use a little bit of conditioner on my ends and I am good. Just ordered my second jar. First one lasted me almost two months-only used it once a week. And because of menopause-I have verrry thin hair…sadly. I’m just happy to have the excess sweat sucked up the way this stuff does it. And it lasts days.

Not so beneficial

I love everything about this scrub! I have 3A-4A curly hair, i wash my hair every 5 days and refresh in between. I use this scrub every time I wash my hair. I scrub until the salt is dissolved, then I go straight in with my shampoo without rinsing the scrub. It is AMAZING at removing build up and stimulating the scalp. It feels refreshing and functions well. I bought this for clarifying my curls and stimulating hair growth and it has worked wonders. I've finished my first jar and already ordered a replacement.

I was excited to try this but this is not as expected. Leaves a very tacky, not smooth finish on the hair.

Anteriormente había comprado este producto y fue muy bueno. Lo volví a comprar y no sirve, no hace espuma como el anterior y está seco, el frasco es más pequeño , viene con muy poco producto e irrita el cuero cabelludo.
