Classic Large Mugs
These are nice mugs. When I first pulled them out of the box, they had bumps around the top rim, but that seemed to be packing material and it washed right off.The cups are sturdy and of a good size. They hold a larger amount than traditional mugs but not so big that a hot beverage gets cold before drinking it all.The sides of the mug are of a good thickness. The white is solid and classic-looking. No rough bumps or issues with the porcelain.I wish the bottom was flat-bottom as that works better with my mug warmer. It has a small ridge around the outside of the bottom of the mug.

Also, I only have white tableware and was looking for a large white cup.The size and wall thickness of this coffee cup are just right for my taste. If the cup thickness is not right for me, I can't fully enjoy the flavor of the coffee. I don't like taking a sip with a thick cup. This cup is just the right thickness for me.The handle is large, so it's easy to hold the cup. Well-balanced and designed cups both functionally and visually.It's fun to brew your favorite coffee in a generous 16-ounce cup, add lots of milk or soy milk, and make your favorite cafe au lait.

Elegant, sturdy, BIG and they go with everything!
I needed some new mugs for my kitchen and just wanted big, plain, white mugs because they would go with everything, be microwavable, able to put in the dishwasher and hold a good sized cup of coffee and tea. After looking at what was available, I chose these. They are just what I was looking for - a well designed, classic big cup, able to hold at least 14 oz of coffee or tea with a nice big handle and easy to keep clean in the dishwasher.Simple, straight forward, well designed, big and convenient!
