SELFCheck Coeliac Test

Really good test, did exactly what I needed. Instructions are good and talk you through all different stages of the test. I also used you tube and watched a short clip which also helped. The test has helped me rule out a gluten sensitivity but also steered me towards looking at all the foods I am eating and have ordered a book from Amazon Mary Roe which is a book about intolerance to certain foods which is due to arrive this week. Of course you can test positive with this test but all in all what ever the result at least it helps either way.

Instructions were read and followed to the letter.The lancets don't puncture the skin sufficiently. No amount of squeezing my finger could have created blood drops large enough to be drawn into the pipette.Just go to your GP for a blood test. If you are really desperate to part with the £15 this costs, donate it to a Coeliac charity; it will be more useful than buying this.

Easy to use and quick

Arrived quickly and with clear, easy to follow instructions. However, I have relatively poor circulation (drs always struggle too!), and couldn’t get enough blood to fill the pipette to the fill line before it started to coagulate. Just a wee warning for fellow non-bleeders like me!

My partner needed this test as different foods upset his tummy,it came out with negative,but once talking to a consultant they have run there own blood test as told not to trust tests online,hopefully the outcome will say the same.

Was unable to use the kit, as both lancets with the kit to make skin prick for sample did not work, needle did not come out of lancet when pressure applied, so totally useless, unable to get a refund as not available for the item, so a waste of my cash.

I've no idea how accurate these tests are but what I can tell you is just try getting the required amount of blood,then being able to actually collect it and transfer it to plastic tray for evaluation. It can be messy as well which makes me question the results.
