No screws, for the average joe they may not have the right size or kind, for me it was a 30 second trip to the Garage.

The brackets look quite strong, that would be the reason I’m keeping them, but very disappointed they didn’t come with screws.

Works as intended
I purchased this pole socket because my old, plastic pole socket broke. I had a hard time finding a replacement locally due to the unusually large diameter of the pole. This metal socket works perfectly. Installation uses 3 screws (rather than the old 1-screw plastic socket) so a bit of measuring and drilling was necessary to ensure a perfect. Works as designed.
