Description
- This cuvee has been created by Regis Camus, wine maker at Piper Heidsieck for than 15 years and elected wine maker of the year 8 times at the renowned IWC. Champagne Brut with its golden colour and fine bubbles is dominated by notes of fruit, ample and structured, with a lively presence on the palate it was awarded a Silver IWC medal at the 2014 awards.
- PIPER-HEIDSIECK Brut NV is a classic, structured, full-bodied and bursting with fruit Champagne. The blend is composed of a majority of Pinots Noirs, incorporating more than 100 crus from around the Champagne region and Pinots Meuniers from the Grande et Petite Montagne de Reims region.
- On the eyeA clear, golden Champagne robe par excellence. Delicate and fine bubbles resulting from an extended maturation time.
- On the noseFresh fruit dominates, with pear and russet apple, and a few hints of citrus fruits such as star fruit. The finish evokes fresh grapes, livened with hints of freshness and aniseed.
- On the palateA structured, full-bodied and franc wine. A juicy, fleshy pear and golden grape texture. The finish narrows to citrus and grapefruit flavours. A wine with great fruit, a good mouthfeel and a harmonious balance.
