Good book for the beginners
My daughter has been showing interest in learning guitar for the past couple of years.Package Content:1x Guitars way bookThe book came well packaged with DO NOT BEND label on. We had couple of guitar learning books in the past but didn't help very much. Now that my daughter has started to take lessons in the school, the guitar book has been highly recommended by the school music teacher. Since she had the book she had 4 lessons so far and she is able to understand and picked up few keys very quickly. When compared the The guitar way with the other couple of guitar learning books she had, it is nicely broken down so the beginners can understand the basics very easily. What I see in my daughter a big change and more interest she has shown since she had 4 lessons. I can certainly see some improvements in her learning the beats and notes explained in the book to follow in a particular pattern.Based on what I see as a parent I can highly recommend for anyone who wants to get their child in to learning Guitar.I really hope you found my review helpful and would love for you to click on the “YES” button to say so. If you don't think my review has been helpful, before you click on the “NO“ button to say I was unhelpful, I would love you to leave me a comment with your thoughts, so I can try improving my future reviews.

Great for novices and children learning guitar and music for the first time
As a guitarist who's been playing for years but always wanted to engage in more sophistacated music theory and general catch up as I use Tablature most of the time, my music teacher friend reccomended this simplied formula. The book breaks down the music into much less complicated ways and makes it child friendly as well as music theory novices friendly. It mainly deals with the middle of the stave to make things easier on the brain as you go along and concentrates mainly on 3 notes the crochet, semibrave and minim. The crochet (one note) a semibrave (one note that covers 4 beats) and a minum that covers 2 beats. This is more then enough to learn basic music theory then once you get used to that can move on to more progressive stuff. This way you are not paying for an expensive book thats gonna make you give up too soon. If you get passed this stage which anyone with patience and determination to learn guitar and music will do you can move on to the next stage (book) its much better this way then jumping in at the deep end. Highly reccomended.

Great book to learn proper music reading and guitar
My son is learning guitar at school. He is 6yo and although I have learned the piano and how to read music I have no idea about guitars. I was really pleased that his teacher recommended this book, he is learning proper music reading and it is at a manageable pace. His teacher helps with correcting his technique and I really feel this is giving him strong bases. I have decided to learn with him and got myself a guitar too and I am really enjoying it. Yes the pieces are very basic and not terribly musical or original but it allows you to focus on learning each cord and practise the right finger movements.
