Got tired of watering my cats 50 times a day. This has lasted 4 days so far!! The food container is easy. Just turn the knob up. Wish I would’ve got this a long time ago!

Great value! It gets the job done. I’m just not sure how much the water filters will cost . It looks durable. I recommend it.

Love the size and design

The product is great. It’s exactly what I needed for my kittens, and the water container hold so much water! However, I received the product without the knobs or the filter for the food container. I have no knob for the top cover of the container or for the front sliding plastic piece. It concerns me that the food container won’t be as air tight as it should be, with the hole in the top where the missing knob should be and no filter. However, overall it’s a good product. That I’m sure would be great when all parts are included!

I have a few battery-operated or plug-in timed feeders for my cats, which I typically only use when we are going to be out of town for a few days. Any longer and I call our pet sitter, but for a weekend getaway, I rely on automatic feeders to make sure my cats have what they need. However, those electric feeders are such a pain to set up! I never feel fully confident that they're going to dispense enough food at the right time, plus I worry that the noise will scare my cats. This set from PetMagic, on the other hand, is pretty old school. Both the food and the water dispensers use good ol' gravity to do the job, and gravity never fails. It's the LAW. ;)I do wish the food dispenser had a separate, pull-out bowl that could be cleaned without dismantling the whole dispenser. And I wish the food adjuster slidey thingy were a little more secure and trusty. It tends to slide down, closing off the chute through which gravity delivers the food. Still, I know that if my girls got too hungry, they'd be nosing around that chute, and they would be able to lift the dispenser gate, so they would eventually get some food out. (Plus, I always leave out an extra bowl of kibble. Just in case.)For the price, though ($16 when I ordered it), this set is fantastic! It's simple, but it works, and I can't imagine what more a person might expect from something that costs less than twenty bucks. Should the price on this set go up, as often happens here on Amazon, I would suggest looking a little more closely at its features and reviews. For now, though, four happy stars!

I have a large one-piece food and water set for my cats and it's very nice but I'd been considering getting an alternative because the size and placement of the bowls seems a little inconvenient for them. I saw this one and thought that it looked best for what I had in mind. I'm glad I got it because it's exactly what I was looking for. First of all the food and water containers are separate. Some people might want them together but in my case I preferred the flexibility of having two different "bases" to move. They're satisfyingly large, storing enough food and water for days (please never leave your pets alone for that much time without a regular backup bowl!!!). I was pleased to see that the water bottle is fairly firm plastic, not easily collapsible so not likely to crumple and warp during standard use. It's easy to remove and refill. The same goes for the food storage unit, which comes with a removable plastic cover and a little plastic lever that can be lifted to determine how much "flow" you want the food to have. The lever feels a little loose on mine but that doesn't matter for me personally, there are several cats here so they need a pretty good amount of food available at all times. I really appreciate that the bowls are nice and wide as well. Any of the cats can easily consume from either bowl without having to turn to avoid brushing their whiskers. Lastly the bowls can both be removed for easy cleaning, and they even come with little packets to keep the water clean and the food dry. This is a great little set, I can't really think of anything that I would want to improve.
