Beyond helpful
Just learning how to play and I cannot tell you how helpful it was to have these notes on the board. Once we learn how to play the notes are still cute decor. The board is big and super study. The backing keeps it in place and the top is smooth & soft allowing the tiles to slide across easily.

The Mahjong table mat is not brand new, it has small holes and hooks, I couldn't give it as a gift, so I returned it.

Fun design
I’ve been looking for a mat for months that doesn’t break the bank and this one checked all the boxes! Very vibrant colors, thick material and such a fun design. The design is also very helpful for new players. All the girls I play mahjong with couldn’t believe the price. This would be a great gift for someone starting on their mahjong journey.
