Perfect fit
I bought this to replace a riser pipe attached to an old faucet. I was replacing the faucet & needed a new riser to go with it. This one worked perfectly!

PERCECTION
we ordered a whole different set up for our vintage cast iron claw foot tub earlier this year, and it was complete garbage. This was the perfect solve. No leaks, heavy duty! It's perfect!

Missing parts or poor design
The product comes as two separate tubes that need to be joined together, but the kit didn’t come with anything to join the two pipes together. The little collar shown is a cheap excuse for a proper design. Its a component from the Kingston Brass shower curtain rod kit. If used, you’ll be left with two open ends holding nothing but air; far from aesthetically pleasing.10/10 would NOT buy again, and I plan to return this one.

Nice product, misleading web info
I bought it to use it with a faucet of the same brand. It turns out that I need a hard-to-find size reducer to connect. I want this reducer with the same finish, yet I couldn't find any neither in Amazon or Kingston Brass websites. I tried to access Kingston Brass customer line, nobody answers, sent an e-mail, no response.

Just what we needed!
Our old riser was 48” in our claw foot tub and it made the shower head sit at nose-level. So this was great for us and just what we needed. My only complaint is that the material feels a bit light and cheap. I question how long it’ll last but for now, it’s great!

Great product but….
After reading many of the other reviews that had issues with finding an adapter that actually fit (and after trying a few myself from my local hardware store to no avail), I turned to the manufacturer. Adapter CC2661ADP from Kingston Brass fit the threads perfectly. In addition, as you can see it came in a finish that matched my faucet. With shipping, it cost me an extra $30, but the shower riser threads perfectly with zero leaks.

Exactly what I was looking for. 3/8" IPS inlet was interesting though.
Needed this to replace the wand the shower attachment in our clawfoot tub and it worked just fine. I had a 3/4" male NPT thread from the faucet that I had to go buy a 3/4" to 3/8" brass NPT fitting to fit the diameter of the male 3/8" inlet from this riser. NPT and IPS don't exactly match up and while the 3/8" IPS screwed into the NPT fitting, it leaked. I just put a bead of silicone sealant on the threads of the riser inlet, screwed it in and let it dry and it has worked perfectly. Paired it with an IPS shower head and the pressure is awesome. A little pricey, but made it work!

Couplings Leak
First unit shipped was missing the rubber washer that goes into the coupling that joins the two pipes, unit leaked. Second unit with the rubber washer leaks also. Poor quality.
