The 5th Grade boys loved it! This book inspired them to do a project on James Forten.

Good Story. Hated for this one to end. I love history.

James Forten is a great role model for helping kids cope with unavoidable hardships. This book has a comic-book format, which keeps the attention of even very young readers.

A short comic book about a young boy on a Slave ship. Recommended by my 8 yr old as a good interesting easy read. My yr3class enjoyed it too.
