They are accurately and honestly described but if you don’t read what you’re ordering you’re going to be disappointed.First, they are accurately described as not having any mesh pouch lining, however the fabric itself has a white opaque backing to it. If you’re the type that wears under wear under board shorts you shouldn’t have any concerns. If like most beach people, me included, you wouldn’t think of wearing anything under board shorts don’t buy them if you think they may show too much, in fact they really don’t.Second, they are accurately described as the fabric being thin. They even capitalize that word. They’re thin so they can be ultra fast drying, which is a big benefit if, like me, you jump out of the water and wear the same shorts the rest of the day. They also use the word lightweight and they are, so much so that you will completely forget you’re wearing them.Third, they accurately note that these are Asian sizes and go to great lengths to provide a U.S. size comparison chart. If you wear medium please do not order medium. You will want extra large or even extra-extra large. That’s the way it works when you buy clothing intended for the Asian domestic market. For a 34 waist I ordered an extra extra large and the waist is perfect, while the rest of the cut is typical board shorts, neither tight nor baggy.Here are a few other things you need to know – don’t depend on the individual photos of the shorts to determine how long they are, it’s hard to tell from the photos. Look at the photo of the model wearing them, which is accurate. The shorts are typical board short length, which is to say they come down to just above the knee.Also note that like most board shorts they don’t have a working fly. That is normal. Board short wearers are used to dropping their shorts when they need to, um, you know. But unlike real board shorts they have an elastic waist with a tie string, not a fitted waist with a button or Velcro tab.At the time I ordered there are 22 very different colors and patterns. I bought the Mx Sky Blue style because I wanted a basic low key solid blue color with the subtle contrasting darker blue stripes. I was concerned that because these don’t have a bold pattern and due to the thinness of the fabric would be the most revealing when wet, but despite the thin fabric, the white lining keeps them mostly opaque. Also remember they dry quickly, fifteen minutes or less, so just plan your water exit accordingly.The tag on them shows them with a retail price of twice what they sell for and compared to most of the other similar brands these are surprisingly well made and I consider them the best value I could find.

I ordered these in a rush to take on my honeymoon and, given the affordable price, I have to be honest when I say I didn't expect much. There are so many products you buy in today's market that are exact examples of the saying, "You get what you pay for." This wasn't the case with these. I am a very active person, even on the honeymoon, and wore these running, swimming, sailing, and beach volleyball. They can take scooting on concrete, diving in sand, etc. Also, the material has some stretchy give in case you need to get low for whatever your reason is for getting low :). The shorts dry very quickly and are breezy. Furthermore, the fit was great and the shorts are rather stylish, even if you enjoy wearing casual clothes around the house!If you like supporting smaller businesses, and love a good customer experience, look no further. I was surprised to see personalized emails from the company, wishing me a happy holiday season and a great honeymoon. Forget paying 2x the amount for top name brand products...you can get just as good right here. I definitely plan to buy more of these! I hope this review helps!

One of my friends bought this "no brand" boardshorts by taking the risk of low quality because he really like the print. However, it suprised him as high quality materials and manufacturing. He strongly recommended so I trusted him. He didn't lie.PRO: I would definitely say it has almost same high quality as those big brands I bought before. Those big brands usually cost me from 30 to 60 bucks.I do checked the closures, stitches, back rises and other details of the product and the manufacturer did great jobs.Really like the soft and lightweight fabric which is so comfortable, like the breeze on bahamas' white sand beach.CON: It comes with no mesh linings so I know someone might not like it.Not a CON but need to implement: Their size chart is kind of different than what we usually see in the US. Probably is ASIAN size. Seller actually is well-thought and mention the waist measurement in many places including the title, bullets and product description. I do appreciate their effort to make everyone clear about the size. In all, make sure you double check your waist before placing the order.

I purposely ordered a larger pair because of the difference in sizes from Asian and American and I was also specifically looking for shorts like these that actually go over your knees, not crazy far over but in a normal way. I hate shorts that don’t cover the knee or when you bend the knee they lift up past it, it just feels uncomfortable to me. These shorts hit that mark beautifully I love them but I went a little overboard on the size and went so large that tying them as tight as possible barely fits my waste and yet I am still very happy. So if you like shorts that will dry quickly and cover your knee instead of throw you back to the 80s basketball days and show off those beautiful thighs, then you will also be happy with your purchase just be cautious as you do need to figure out the sizing. Have not heard of the brand before but really liked the styles and prints the brand carried so I gave it a try.Have to say that the quality is definitely on par if not better than the other common well know brands out there.Price is also very good. 3 pairs only cost $70, which should be good for many years. $70 can probably get me 1 or 2 pairs if I bought the "brand" shorts.Wanted to purchase the 31" but it was out of stock so I went with the 32". They fit pretty good on me, maybe a little loose on the waist.Overall, very nice and comfortable shorts, worth recommending to friends and family.
