UV Resistant High Strength Polyester Thread #69 T70 Size 210D/3 [Beige+Black+Dark Grey+White]

I run a small shop that specializes in handbags and other items made with upholstery fabric. I find this thread to be excellent. It is strong and has a nice sheen. My sewing machines have no problem with them. This is my go to thread. The seller provides very quick delivery, so I can count on a good supply when needed. Love the colors also. We will continue to purchase this thread.

Used this in my 1905 Singer 31-15 industrial. Couldn’t be happier! No thread breaks and my machine loves it!

Although it didn’t fit in our small singer heavy duty. The color was perfect for our sunshade. And is holding up really well. Couldn’t be happier! :)

This is the third I order this thread. I make totes with burlap coffee bags and I needed a strong and thick thread for the job that wouldn't be too costly. After researching on Amazon and reading lots of reviews I decided on this one.My first two orders perfectly fine, I was able to even use this thread for finer details without compromising the quality of the final product. I was so happy that I placed another order.Except that this time I was having a lot of trouble with the thread knotting up, unraveling, and fraying.I had several orders to finish up and deliver before Christmas and no time to wait for another order to be delivered.So I got online and went through reviews again to see if I had missed something, anything. And I am so glad I did because I had in fact missed the main thing, which was to use the appropriate size needle for the thickness of the thread. This is a T-70 which requires either a size 16/100 or an 18/110.I was using the 16/100, which worked for the first couple of cones I ordered, but oddly didn't work for the third time around. Upon switching to a size 18/110, the very same cone that was giving me so much trouble was working without any problems, no unraveling, no knotting up, no fraying. I was able to finish up all my orders and keep using the thread with no incidents whatsoever.This thread is a great value for your money. It is super strong, and there is no way you are able to break it using your hands. With that being said, if it gets knotted it will most likely break the needle before the thread breaks off. that's how strong it is.So if you are having a problem with fraying and knotting I would check your needle size to make sure it is appropriate. Just because you used the same size tread from another brand with a specific needle size does not mean that you will be able to use it with this thread as well.I have sewn several bags with this thread and they are SUPER strong.I will update this review if I have any problems in the future but in the meantime, I am ordering more of this thread in different colors.I am very happy with it and I do recommend it!

Saved the day. Needed to make repairs to a towable with tear on bottom. This help up all day, and is still good.

Did some patio furniture reupholstering and this was beyond what I expected. I got two to be safe but in all actuality all I needed was one. But at least I don’t have to worry about it again.

Was able to break it by hand, which I shouldn't be able to do with this thread. broke a lot in the machine too. May have been an old spool or something. Returned and purchased other from Mandala Crafts.

My sewing machine did not like this thread. The strands come untwisted so many jams and lots of retreating.

This thread is a great buy. I will buy more. I love it. I have been using to to make rod and paddle leashes for my kayaks by sewing loops into shock cord. I wil also use it to make panting bags for my garden. It is very strong thread and there is lots on a spool. I want more.

fantastic product, heavy duty and the colour was the same it has been advertised.

After I ordered this, I realized that I couldn't use it with my traditional sewing machine. I found a hack online. Just pop the spool in a mug, put a safety pin on the sewing machine's spool holder. Thread from the mug, up through the safety pin and then as normal. The weight was perfect. The thread ravels a little so it helps to use a threader to get it through the needle. The chairs have only been done for a couple of months (and have been outside) so I can't tell yet how they stand up to weather.
