GENBOLT 4G AOV Cellular Solar Security Camera Outdoor Wireless With Sim

I would recommend this camera system as a budget entry level solution if you need to site a camera in a remote location without power or internet connection. I have my camera installed on a property I own that is 300 miles away from my home and the 4G signal is perfect for allowing to remotely monitor the area for security.i found it was extremely easy to install and set up straight out of the box, after fully charging via the included usb c. I found it simple to set up the SIM card which was already included ( although you can use your own SIM card). And there was a free cloud storage trial which makes remote monitoring and playback easy via the app. The features on the app are easy to set up such as Ai tracking, alarm area notifications and pan tilt and zoom. Having 2 cameras makes monitoring much easier. Picture quality is ok for the price of the unit as is sound, although wind noise can be an issue. The camera has remained at between 90 and 100% charged due to the included solar panel. There are lots more features that I haven’t mentioned, but overall, I have had this system up and running for a month with no issues.

This is my review of a purchased item and not part of any evaluation or free product. The Genbolt 4G SIM security camera is ideal for those hard to reach places outdoors that has no wifi access or LAN or POE wiring connections and because it has its own 8W solar panel included and a substantial rechargeable battery, having no electricity supply nearby not a problem at all. The camera came with a 4G sim card already installed and data access was activated as soon as I connected the camera to the Genbolt app using my mobile phone which is simply accomplished by scanning the QR code on the camera. The sim card included has 300Mb of free data for setting the camera up. Afterwards more data can be purchased online for 30 days use, €9 being the minimum cost, depending on how much data is required. The camera can use any 4G LTE sim card, if the settings for APN information is known. The quality of the camera is very good both construction and the optical resolution is sharp and clear, with the added advantage of having two cameras, one fixed and one that tilts and pans using the app on my phone. All camera settings are in the Genbolt app, including recorded video from both cameras, which can be viewed on my mobile phone. The easiest recording method is to use a SD card slotted into the camera body (purchased separately) but optional cloud subscription is available online if required. I temporary fixed the camera and solar panel outside on my garden arch to test it's effectiveness in capturing images, and the human detection is very accurate, with low, medium and high sensitivity settings. The IP rating is yet to be tested, as it was a nice sunny day when I fitted the camera, but it's designed for outdoors, so I will see how it fairs in wet, windy, and snow conditions over the winter months. Overall, I found it a good purchase, and it has fulfilled my main requirements of outdoor surveillance in a remote area. I rated this product 5 star, because it was simplicity itself to set up, and fulfilled all my requirements.

Here is my review of my new GENBOLT GB217H-4G Solar Powered 4G Connected Security Camera, I have been using this camera for several days now so feel that I can give a good summary of how it has been working for me..I have included screenshots of what the camera sees and there are some pictures showing the installation as well and I am sure you will appreciate the image quality. First impressions are that this camera is pretty big, certainly in comparison to my other GENBOLT cameras, whilst this may limit the area that you can install the camera in it is actually a benefit from my point of view as it acts as a visible deterrent as any potential intruders should be able to see it from a good distance away and hopefully it will deter them from approaching. Once installed in the desired location the camera is really very easy to set up, the SIM card that GENBOLT supply to use their in house data service is already installed and once powered up the setting up via the GENBOLT app is simplicity itself taking no more than about 5 minutes in total. When you have the camera setup you will be very impressed with the clarity of the images in both daylight and at night, control of the pan and tilt of the device is very intuitive using the controls on the app. The only slight downside that I have found and has been mentioned by other reviewers is that there is a bit of a lag in the video of a few seconds, i.e. it takes a few seconds for a new image from the camera to show on the app, this is obviously due to the fact the camera is using the 4G mobile system but in reality does not cause any problems. So all in all I can say that this camera is well worth getting if you have problems with power or WiFi in the area that you want to install.

Great quality definition daytime and night time, the 4G works fine if a little slow to connect and view the camera. The app interface to control it is ok, swivelling it left, right up and down isn't the fastest and there's no setting to allow the speed of camera movement in slow, medium or fast mode like other camera apps. Best feature is that it can track movement automatically on the settings and you can change the sensitivity and volumeof the sensors. The solar panel does a great job of keeping it topped up between 79% to 100% depending on strength and duration of sunlight in the UK. Haven't yet used it in heavy rain or winter time so I would expect it to drop in charge. Removing it from the wall to recharge may prove to be a little challenging if it needs it however. I've not recorded onto the cloud or used an SD card yet to record or download, but will update this review once I start recording or retaining the videos and images. Overall it's a competitively priced, simple to use and set up multi functional dual camera that gives a decent quality picture.

This camera was purchased for security reasons at a local club fishing lake, where we do not have power or wifi. So a 4G camera was necessary even though the 4G signal isn't the best in the area it still works well. The camera was quite easy to set up, however the booklet that comes with the camera has information for more than 1 device, so it pays to read through the booklet and pick out the bits you require for your camera. I'm impressed with the way I can interact with the camera, being able to manoeuvre the 2nd lower camera whilst the upper camera is fixed. This is done on the APP. It will also pickup on movement and follow it and send a notification to your phone. Pictures and video can be saved on a memory card for playback or you can buy cloud storage. The cloud storage play back is more user friendly to be honest. There is also the option to be able to set the camera to operate between certain times, I'm thinking this will limit the amount of data you use. So in summary it all comes down to the running costs. The camera has now been in operation just over 6 months and to be honest it's a great device. The camera will pick up human movement but not animals depending on the way you set up the camera which is ideal. I have now just purchase another camera to put up in another area of the lake . The day time pictures and video are of a good quality, as are the night vision camera video and pictures. There is also the option to speak through the camera via the app. I can highly recommend this camera.

I got this security camera to monitor my allotment. This 4G security camera from GENBOLT is fantastic, straight from the box it powered up and connected to the network. It was so simple to setup, just scan the QR code and away you go, the supplied sim card worked a treat. The AOV (always on video) is great, I inserted my own 128GB card, cycled the power on the camera and did a format, all through the app, its now recording. It can be viewed or downloaded for convenience. I even tried it with a Lebara sim card and that worked too all I had to do was configure the sim card on my phone to use Lebara APN: uk.lebara.mobi Username: wap Password: wap for both the mobile data, LTE. There is SD and HD mode and the controls are simple including the auto tracking of people. The solar panel is easy to install and has plenty of cable so it can be located in the correct place. Overall I would recommend this camera.

Installing the Camera is pretty easy. Configuration the cam is also easy. I got a 4G Camera with a separate Simcard and 128gb SD Card. SIMCard automatically recognized. I don't have to make APN settings or Something like that. I pretty like the recognition ant tracking. Downloading Video from Cloud server is good and fast. BUT downloading from SD Card is a bit annoying... everytime I wanna check the SD memory the App is crashing and you have to open and search again. So far price value for money is 5 Star.

Compré esta cámara ENBOLT porque necesitaba una solución de seguridad en un lugar sin WiFi ni electricidad, y la verdad me sorprendió. La calidad de imagen es muy buena (2.5K se nota), incluso de noche se ve bastante claro. Se alimenta con el panel solar y que la batería dura muchísimo, así que no te tendrás que preocupar por estarla cargando nunca. La instalación es muy sencilla, solo escaneas el QR de la cámara con la APP y se configura sola en segundos. Recibo alertas al celular cada vez que detecta movimiento, y el doble lente le da buen ángulo de visión. Muy buena compra.

I had a regular GENBOLT with power and decided to get the one with solar to put in an area without power. It is amazing camera and I love it, in the beginning I was hesitant but now my mind changed completely to love and watch the camera all the time, the features they provided are very amazing specially the AI technology which allow the camera to automatically move with the person walking day or night, also you get to see two cameras in one, there are actually one camera at the top and one at the bottom and resolution is amazing. It took me 15 min to Install and I can watch life ongoing action within 180 degree in the surrounding areas. Other amazing feature is the alarm setting, timing, recording and alert. I highly recommend this product specially for areas without WIFI and without electricity. I checked the operation for solar and ever time I see between 80 to 95% which is great so far. Searching for signal was a little tough in the beginning but now working great so far for almost two weeks I was always looking for this camera without WIFI and with solar Thanks for producing such camera without the need of WIFI or power
