1791 Gunleather Double Mag Pouch, OWB Double Stack 9mm Magazine Holster

I have to stay I did not expect to be so impressed off that bat. From the moment I opened the package, to handling the Mag Holster, any apprehension I had for spending money on this item drifted away. The craftsmanship can not be topped and for the price, I honestly consider this price a steal given the leather quality, strength, and sturdiness. The Classic Brown is a beautiful color, I am biased as this is my favorite leather tone. 1791 Logo is so cool, I wish it was in the front, haha. That well placed and of course I hope everyone understands the significance of 12.15.1791 My only worry at this moment which I will update as I only had this for a day, however was so impressed by 1791 decided to write this review before I forgot. I had to cover my Glock 19 Gen 5 Mags with wax paper as man that sucker was tight. I'm expecting a break in period obviously. However hard to pull out at the moment. *UpDate 2.25.2018* - Used Ziplock bags by placing the 15 round mags ( Gen 5) inside bag and wrapping twice over. Inserted in pouches with some solid pressure. Left overnight about 12 hours. Break in is going over smoothly. So happy with this purchase.

This is the third 1791 product I have bought and will be buying many more of their holsters. I've carried a firearm daily for the last forty five years and used many brands of holsters. This companies price point is at least one third lower than other quality holsters if not more. But the quality of their holsters are much better than other name brands. They double stich and insert double leather over certain wear places. The edges are polished and look great. I recently bought a double mag pouch, it is so nice I just want to look at it and caress it instead of wearing it. haha. As far as the fit goes, the two holsters I've bought so far fit "O" so nice, just like it was made for the gun. haha Just ordered another one of their holsters for my Springfield EMP tonight.

This double mag holder may have been designed for 9mm double stack mags. I'm not sure this mag holder was designed for Glock G41 doublestack 45 ACP magazines. I had a very hard time getting the mags in and completely seated. I worked and worked on the break-in. It was just too tight and not functionally usable. I ended up soaking the holder in warm water for an hour, then covered my mags in plastic and worked and twisted them in and out. After getting the mags seated and snug but not too tight. I hung the mag holder on a belt and let me dry. The next day I tested seating and retention. It was muck better. I let the holder dry for another day and I'd was ready for use. I found that it fits comfortably, and conformed to the curve of my body. After breaking it in, I really like it. It's well made with good thickness. Should last for years. 4 stars instead of 5 because of the extra steps required to fit my mags.

Quality leather at a fair price. I ordered double mag because I carry a leatherman wave. It is a touch loose but unless your doing back flips it's not an issue. I'm a fat dude and it doesnt print as I thought it would in a tshirt and not at all when I where a button up. I've recently moved away from kydex and appendix carry so this pairs well with a bianchi owb for my 19. The mag fits tight but I'm sure itll give with time.Also another touch they added was a stamped leather key chain. I'm sure it could retail for $15. Unless something drastic happens I'm more then happy with purchase.

The magazine holster fits 45 ACP magazines sung and secure. The leather is good quality. I highly recommend for anyone looking for a mag holster

I bought this mag holster because it perfectly matches my Galco Holster for my P226 and P229 9mm. It actually matches better than the Galco mag holster! I initially found that the holsters were too loose for my tastes as I prefer more positive retention. I simply glued some leather inside the pouches which gave me the perfect retention I like, without marring the holsters good looks. The company offered to replace them very quickly upon contact, so their customer service is very good. I opted to simply manage the situation myself, and am very pleased

I wanted to like this product. I found it to very very sturdy, well manufactured, of high quality and I love the deep, rich brown tone with just a hint of red. But magazines for 3 Sig pistols just slide right out...no retention whatsoever. Place the tip in and drop it and there is enough room for it to slide to the bottom using nothing but gravity. Mags for my Glock 22 were nice and snug and would have required a bit of working for it to conform but I believe it would and be fine. Unfortunately, I ordered this to carry with the Sig P320 and for that purpose it fails. If I wanted it for the Glock, I would have been perfectly happy with the product.

I use it with my P320 mags. It could be a bit tighter but they have not fallen out yet.
