NFC Tag Game Cards for Splatoon 2 Switch - 16pcs Cards with Cards Holder

Wanted to address this first since I see most bad reviews are from the octo cards being registered already. This is easily fixed and they can be reset by going to your System Settings on the Switch menu, going to Amiibos, and resetting them. You can then register them yourself and use them perfectly fine. They all worked perfectly for me, and this is a perfect way to get all the in game exclusives while saving a lot of money and shelf space. Definitely would recommend.

Glad i got the cards in, pretty sturdy plastic. When i received the package, the cards were stacked all together in the leather card case. The cards of octo girl, octo boy, and octoling were actually under another owners name, so if that happens make sure to reset the card. That way, you'll get all the gear and items from the amiibo. Fully functional, just put the card in front of the control stick with the character side forward and it the character should pop up in the game. Only thing that bothers me is that MARINA IS SUPPOSED TO BE AFRICAN AMERICAN but they made her Caucasian on the card. Also apparently you can use the card several times rather than just once a day.

These works just like Amiibo!Other reviews here are complaining that the cards say they are already registered to another user but the listing clearly states that you have to reset the 3 Octoling cards, which is easy to do, then they’ll work like normal, which they do.Also, I figured out that the chip in the cards are located more towards the top of the card so if you hold the card too low on the controller pad, the Switch console won’t read it and give you an error message saying it is not an Amiibo. But if you hold the card correctly, placing the top of it down on the console you won’t have any issues.

Cards appeared to be new, but most were already registered to someone else. when they could scan in, ultimately an error would happen and the amiibo would disappear. sending these back!

These cards do work, so if you do not want to spend more money on amiibos then get these cards instead. I liked their design to an extend, however they got marina's skin color wrong. Beside that it is a good product that I recommend for splatoon players.

I loved all the art for the cards but instead of an octoling girl, I got 2 octoling boys.

There ones already register I guess somebody wanted free cotoling gear (all the octos where register) xD but other than that they work!!! Thank you!!!

This was my first time ordering any NFC TAGS so I was skeptical about it but it was good for what it was worth. I was able to save most of the gear. The only problem I had like many others: it was used. I read the other comment about resetting them and before I purchased it I was relying on that method. I reset and tried registering it on my switch but sadly, this didn’t work. Out of all the Amiibos I was looking forward to unlocking Octoling Girl & I wasn’t able to. Which was very upsetting. For any other buyers I would recommend being aware that some may be used. That’s really the price you pay for these 😁 other than that I’m satisfied with everything else. Not satisfied with the gear I couldn’t unlock.
