My trusty charger finally failed, the writing was on the wall for a while, mostly frayed cables..Ordered this as a replacement and been very happy with it. My laptop charges quickly and the pack does not get too hot. Recommended.

An excellent charger, only let down by having the wrong fuse rating fitted. Remove the 13A one and use a 3 or 5A fuse instead.Build quality is good with no excessive creaking when twisted. It doesn’t get too hot in use. Reasonably priced for such a powerful charger.

This Lenovo power supply is considerably larger, and more powerful than typically needed for a laptop. However, rectangular power connectors were used on ThinkPad P1 to P70, T450 to 470/470s, and X240 to X380 laptops.At 230W output, this 20V power supply is ideal for powering a Lenovo docking station with this type of connector, and would be capable of supplying plenty of power for the laptop and any associated peripherals.The power supply comes with a captive output cable, 1.4m in length, and a 1.2m IEC (C13) mains cable, fitted with a 13A BS1363 plug, and a non-compliant 13A fuse… fuse wire sticking out from under the end cap! So, be sure to change it for a 3A compliant fuse, before using.A good power supply, but missed out on a 5-star rating, by not having a compliant fuse fitted in the plug!
