Got this for my daughter, she loves tracking on steps on more adventuras days, long battery life and she can play music and read texts

My first smartwatch. It does the minimum. I just have to find screen cover for it. It is a good size for my wrist. It still works when I wash the dishes.

We bought this watch because it had a ski setting advertised as an option in the sports mode. Now that we have the watch, there is no ski setting. We have been trying to find a customer service number/email to ask for help with this, but after hours of working on this, there does not seem to be one that exists.

My child loves it. Fits amazing and does what she wants it too.

This is by far the cheapest and best smart watch for a kid. Heart rate has never worked, but we didn't buy it for that purpose anyway. 3 stars because there literally are no replacement bands for it that will fit. After 3 months of use the band broke and Mgaolo doesn't sell a band that fits it.

This is such a great choice for a first smartwatch. It has an absolute host of functions to hold a kid’s interest, and what’s great is that it can be used with or without a downloaded app. If you do choose to download the app, as a parent you can set the watch to transfer data to your own phone when the watch is in range, which might be good for checking sleep. Using the app you can also view and record the functions, as well as have access to extra features. However what’s great is that once you’ve set your phone up, if you choose not to use the app then you don’t have to; the phone will function fine without—though note that the info stored on the watch will only be viewable until the next day, as it resets the readout charts every 24 hours (if you have the app it will record keep all previous daily data in an ongoing log). Meanwhile the screen is bright and crisp, and you get a choice of a few pre-loaded digital watch faces to choose from (stored on the watch), as well as a ton more if you connect to the app. The menus are worked via the button on the side of the watch, then the device is also touchscreen, to scroll through all the functions. I do question whether very young kids might find getting through all the menus a little taxing, but then they’re pretty tech-savvy these days, so maybe they’ll take to it easily. It is, however, great that the activity settings are geared towards younger wearers, with ‘sports mode’ including things like skipping and table tennis. The bio-monitors like heart rate and sleep functions have also been simplified for kids, making them easier to understand. It comes packed in a basic but nicely printed box, and inside is the smartwatch fitted with a plain black patterned silicon strap, plus instructions and a charging cable (USB-A to USB-C). I’m ging to be honest, it’s a big, chunky thing when you put it on a kid’s wrist, as it’s the same size as the adult watches. I’m hoping that this will be able to take a few knocks, as I think it’ll be in the thick of it on any kid’s wrist! This kid’s smartwatch has a host of functions but looks very grown-up, and would be a great choice for any youngster who’s bugging you for one just like yours; a great watch for the price.

It's an ok watch, but I wouldn't buy it again for the following reasons: No calculator app. Yes I know something silly, but this is a basic app that should be included and isn't. You can only bind one watch to your phone. I have multiple kids and they don't have phones. You can only bind one watch with the app which is useless for our needs and severely limits the usefulness of the watch. For those reasons I can't recommend this watch

The app suggested is one that I already have on my existing smartphone for my own watch, so I know that the app works well. It comes packed in a basic but nicely printed box, and inside is the smartwatch fitted with a silicon strap. It's a 3-hour charge which when I wore it myself (trying it out as a Christmas gift), I got seven days. It has a bright, crisp screen which has a very responsive touchscreen to display all the functions. It’s also great that the functions are geared towards younger wearers, so the sports modes include things like skipping and table tennis. The usual bio-monitors like heart rate and sleep functions have also been a bit simplified, to make them easier to understand for kids. You get a choice of several digital faces to choose from which are stored on the watch, and of course there are a ton more available if you connect to the app. There are some really useful functions too, such as reminders, which can prompt anything as simple as drinking or moving about for a minute when you’ve been sedentary, to taking tablets. It’s also waterproof, which with kids I think might be a useful feature! If you choose to download the fitness app onto your phone for the watch to ‘talk’ to (it suggests the VeryFit app, which doesn’t ask you for too many personal details and is widely regarded as safe, but there are others out there), you can view and record all the functions on your phone, as well as have access to some extra features and info. It’s worth mentioning that once you’ve set your phone up, if you choose not to use the app, then the info stored on your watch will be viewable until the next day (it resets the charts every 24 hours).
