Wonderful sliding shower chair
After some research I purchased this sliding shower chair for my elderly father who now needs assistance in the shower and also getting over the wall of the bathtub as well. With the sliding and rotation features this has been a life changer for my father as it makes it so easy for him to now get into and out of the shower which was not an easy task prior. The chair was very easy to assemble especially with the video on Amazon which absolutely helped. After the chair was built I inspected it to ensure that it would be a good fit for my father, and it appears to be very well made with the cushioned seat and backrest being a nice feature.I recommend this chair to anyone who has difficulties with showering/getting over the bathtub wall as it is absolutely a life saver and I wish I found it sooner. If you are looking for a shower chair this definitely is the one to get yourself or a loved one.

Senior shower assist
A shower chair is very useful to seniors. But if you still have to step over the side of the tub, sometimes you can still feel unsteady. This transfer chair enables you to sit securely on the seat, swivel, and slide over the tub to enter for your shower. Weight capacity is rated at 350 lbs. Please note that the shower curtain will not fully close over the chair rails. Also be sure that you have adequate room in a small bathroom for its use. Relatively lightweight, it can be placed in the tub, out of the way, when not in use.

Great shower chair
I never knew they made a chair like this. This is the best shower chair ever. I assist my 90 year old Mother and the normal tub chair that almost everyone has wasn’t really easy for her. Even with me helping her. Well this chair is a game changer. It was super easy to assemble and they have a video to watch which made it easy. This chair is sturdy and locks into place very nicely. My mother absolutely loves the ease of getting in and out of it. You won’t be disappointed.

This Bench Glides Effortlessly From One Side To The Other, One Of The Best I've Reviewed...
I've had the pleasure to review a number of these Sliding Chair Transfer Benches over the past year and I can say that Loyoda's design to slide the chair along the rails of the bench is by far one of the best that I've experienced to move the chair from one side to the other without feeling any drag or friction as the chair is moving and in addition to that they've included their chair with a 360-degree rotating function with four locking positions at 90-degrees intervals. They've also provided a well cushioned seat and backrest over 1.75 inches thick which are waterproof and very easy to clean plus they've included a seat belt to secure your loved one to the chair to keep them safe while bathing. It's very easy to assemble, although it's not tool-free, it only has 4 small screws with washers along with an Allen wrench to tighten them and these screws are for attaching the rails which the chair slides upon to the leg frames at each end of the rails. This chair also features cushioned armrests which can be rotated out of the way for easy access to the chair or if need be they can be easily removed with just the push of a button on each arm. This chair is fabricated from sturdy rustproof aluminum which has a weight capacity of 350 lbs. and the leg height can be adjusted with just a push of the button on each leg to enable this bench to work with most tub heights but just to make sure prior to ordering I would check out one of their thumbnail pics on this Amazon webpage to review the minimum and maximum height adjustments that are available....So if you're a Caregiver or just someone with a Mobility issue and looking for a safer way to enter and exit your tub for a relaxing as well as safe bathing experience I recommend that you take a serious look at this Loyoda sliding bench chair!

Not too bad, but a few issues
The timing of me getting this couldn't have been better. I recently had knee surgery and I'm trying to negotiate the bathtub. I can only bend my knee slightly, so getting in and out of the tub is a serious challenge. This shower chair makes that whole experience a lot easier. I can sit into the tub, lift my leg and swivel in. The sliding feature allows me to slide forward to access the tub controls and then back to give myself room to bathe. The assembly manual needs a bit of work. One thing seemed to be wrong, and then the manual was completely missing steps 5 and 6, but fortunately, it was very obvious what had to be done, so there was no problem. They included one extra of the small pieces which is a good idea.Although this particular unit is priced up there with the best of them ($250 when I purchased it), there are a few things I found a little on the cheap side. I have no problem with most of the seat cushion which is fairly comfortable, and the swivel and sliding mechanisms that feel very sturdy and snap into place. But there are several edges that are uncomfortably sharp. They should be rounded or at least sanded a little. Examples of this are the bottom edge of the seat and the control buttons.I sat in it while it was swiveled to the side and then pulled the release knob so that I could swivel in toward the shower. As the swivel control knob passed one of the support poles (as I was swiveling), it jammed my finger (see photo). I didn't injure myself, but it hurt pretty badly. Someone with thicker fingers might have fared worse. This is something that should definitely be redesigned. The best position for the height for me is fairly low, but it does allow you to raise it so that the seat is well over 2' off the floor. I found that when it was in this position, it felt a bit rickety. I didn't feel that there was any danger of it collapsing, but it still felt a bit insecure. That said, I'm not sure how many people will need the seat that high.
