These locks are excellent! I have them on my back door all the time. I use them at hotels and I travel often. Easy to use and very effective. The only drawback is that it must be an inward swinging door. So these do not work well on a cruise ship that generally has outward swinging doors. Very heavy duty and highly recommend other than that!

This thing is kind of heavy for short travels when I only have a carry on and no checked in bag. But the quality is amazing and it does its job. I’m able to sleep better at night knowing I’m super safe in my hotel room.

It was a little confusing at first but once I figured out how to work this gadget it actually IS simple to operate. I use it at home. Great extra reassurance. I love it so much that I checked Amazon for availability and ordered my second one. I use both at home now and I'll definitely take one with me when I travel. Perfect for hotel room security !

Product works great! Very strong and does the job. I bought this for my wife as she travels a lot for work. Very safe and gives you a sense of security when traveling. Fits well and easy to use. One note, TSA will stop you to look at it each time you travel but they never have a problem with it. It just catches their attention on the screen.

Love it! Very strong and very easy to install/use. Love it. I live alone and always have been using this type of locks, just to fell myself safe. Use them when travel as well.

Works well on most the hotels I’ve stayed at. Works on some hotel doors better than others. Sometimes it’s a little loose but it still does the job. My only issue is because of the design I get stopped in security almost every time because it looks like a utility knife. I make sure I keep it in an easy to get to pocket just for this reason. If it had a slightly better design that wouldn’t get me searched constantly I’d give it a 5 star rating.

Excellent product, low cost for easy piece of mind.

The lock doesn’t work properly with my door. When installed, it prevents the door from closing all the way so it can’t even be locked. Instead of making the door safer, it actually makes it easier to open since the door won’t shut correctly. It defeats the whole purpose of this device . The product itself seems sturdy but unfortunately it’s unusable for my setup. It isn’t compatible with all doors, keep that in mind before buying.
