Amazing glass quality, eye relief and FOV. Narrow eyebox EXTRA LARGE reticle
Pros: >amazing glass clarity >very large Field Of View >large eyebox >Feels very solid, im sure this thing could take a hard hit or two just fine >i like the reticle >top rail for a red dot >Holds zero well after over 300 rounds Cons: >Very narrow eyebox >Larger than standard Reticle can make obscure small targets at range >.5 moa adjustment, with 5x magnification i'd prefer .25 moa but honestly small gripe Im genuinely so impressed at the clarity of the glass for this price. I can't think of an optic that is a better value in this price bracket, the glass clarity very nearly matches other Prism optics that around around 2.5-3 times the price. Also some of the best eye relief ive seen on a prism optic (even the $1000 name brand "battle proven" optics dont have this level of eye relief) I'm also quite impressed at the field of view this optic has, when you're looking through the scope the edges of the housing almost fades away and it's a much wider FOV than my other prism scopes The illumination is just fine, and it's daylight bright but honestly i rarely use illimitation on etched reticles but it's there if you want it. Before i get to the cons let me define two terms Eyebox: how much you are able to shift an optic left/right/up/down while still being able to see the full image Eye Relief: how much distance is required between the scope lens and your eyeball to get a full image My only gripes are that the reticle is quite large, compared to my other prism scopes on my PIRMARY fireARMS but imo it's not a deal breaker, and the eyebox is quite a bit more narrow. If you're buying this scope you're prob the type that shoots at a flat range and prob no more than 200meters. If that's your use case i'd say as long as you zero this optic for the very tip of the chevron at 100 meters as this can obscure smaller targets beyond that and this will produce tight groups(1.5-2moa) and that's all you can really ask for in a 5.56 rifle. Honestly if you just got this and a cheap micro red dot for the top rail you'd have a pretty fantastic budget equivalent to an ACOG stack. I'd just recommend you really practice presenting your rifle and learning the narrow eye box. As i said before even 1k prism scopes struggle with eye relief so a narrow eyebox is just a trade off but all you have to do is train yourself the muscle memory of getting a good image out of this scope. All in all i'm impressed at what monstrum is producing at this price and it's convinced me to try out their LPVO line

Decent scope
Decent scope, clear reticle even with the illumination off. Only complaint. I dont know theres a minimum distance but anything under 10 yards is blurry.

Performance
Great value and quality. Keeps the zero after firing more than 100 556/223 rounds. Make sure you use the focus (adjust the amount of light coming in) improves the focus. Didn't come with an instruction manual.

Red dot prism, no green dot setting.
The 6x ruckus I recieved only has red dot, no green dot setting. Despite the instruction manual clearing showing both settings. My brightness dial is different than the manual. Mine goes from 0 being "off" to 1-11 in red only. Not 1-5 green, 0, and 1-5 red. I bought specifically for green dot so pretty bummed. Otherwise solid prism for the money.

Good scope but could easily be great
It’s not perfect but for the money, it’s really good. Pros - it is very solid and well built, larger than I expected, easy to turn up rectile bright if needed, installs very easily, and has a true 5” eye relief. Cons - the biggest one will keep me from buying again, it come with no lens covers. The only other thing would be its lens good but not as great as other higher priced scopes. All this said this is about a third of cost of all my other scopes. But if they don’t include lens covers preferably flip down type, this will be my last purchase from them. Side note they also make a tri-pod that’s half of leaders cost and so well made, and easy to use. It’s the only tri-pod for my from now on.

Reticle is VERY crips without using illumination.
Magnification is excellant at 6x; adjustable eyepiece accomodates a heavy eyeglass prescription & seems to work w/ progressive lens too. Illumination is good but not needed in bright daylight. Comes with battery installed & extra button battery. You can NOT mount a flip up lens cover over the Objective lens due to shape so a water repellant scope cover would have been nice but is available elsewhere for an extra $10.

Lighted reticle covers/obscures target
The reticle obscures the view of your target. The lighted reticle has very thick lines. So thick that they obscure the target at anything over 25 yards. For example, a 12" x 20" steel silhouette is COMPLETELY obstructed at a distance of 100 yards. You cannot see ANY of the target due to the size of the reticle. Eye relief was good, lightweight, sleek look. Unfortunately, useless at required distance.

Unboxing was impressive. I like it.
Giving a preliminary out of box review for now because I wanted to address something I feel other reviewers have been unfair about. The reviews regarding narrow eye box and short eye relief sound to me as if those reviewers are comparing this unit to a 3x or 1x prism scope instead of comparing it to a more conventional scope capable of hitting 6x magnification. Once you appropriately adjust your frame of reference, the eye box and eye relief are actually quite decent. Optics seem crisp and clear fresh out of the box with a fairly wide field of view for a 6x scope. Thus far, it has two relatively minor cons that I can point to. Its a bit heavy, but that is a common complaint for prism optics and I knew the weight when I bought it. It has no way to mount flipup scope caps on the objective lens.
