The Plugs Sockets are NOT GROUNDED
The ground on the sockets are not connected to the ground plug. It is just the insulation from that goes into plug box. I used my plug tester when I plugged in the extension and it was indicating no ground. I opened the box to see if there was a ground wire I could connect and there is not. It looks like a wire coming from the plug, but it is just wire insulation. No wire you can connect. So if you don't want a plug with a ground, this will work. If you want a safe extension with a ground, buy another product, because this one is not grounded.
