Waay too big for kittens they will eventually get big enough to use it. I would not advise getting this item if you believe your cat/kitten is very small as it is around the size of a 50p piece and as heavy as 3 of 50p taped together. I got this for my kitten and going to have to wait until she grows up a bit for her to wear it.Handy Tag - would be even more awesome if there was a tracker key inside the medallion but understand this would make it even more heavier! Does the job, looks good, and easy to use,

This item is one which may only prove its value and efficiency if my pet is lost. Therefore I can only rate it on functionality and quality of materials both of which are fantastic. Let's hope I don't need to use its functionality

Let's be absolutely clear here, this is not a GPS device. That is not why I bought it but, from other reviews, it seems other people have. The product details are quite clear IMO. (GPS tracking is much more expensive.)This is a simple NFC-enabled tag that hangs from a dog's collar. You either scan the NFC tag, or scan the QR code and it brings up a website showing contact details for your dog's owners. If you're worried about privacy you have full control over how much information to show. When scanned it also notifies the owner by email that someone has scanned it. I tested it out today by scanning it at home. The email I received stated the _approximate_ location was my next door neighbour's address. Which is pretty darned good!The quality of the tag is very nice. It feels solidly made, like it will last, it looks really smart - not at all cheap or nasty. I hope we never need it for real but it is a significant amount of reassurance for a very small price. The fact that someone can scan this tag (assuming they look at it closely enough) with a regular smartphone makes it a very useful addition to the microchip. Not to mention far easier to scan!

Perhaps I didn't read the info correctly but my reason for buying this was that we can have an elderly dog with very poor sight now and diminished hearing I thought if I lost him on a walk I would be sble to locate him with GPS and that isn't the case. I had to register him and then I understand that I have to report him as a lost pet if he goes missing and then wait until someone finds him and scans his tag with a smart phone..... probably wouldn't have bothered if I had realised. He wears a tag with address and phone numbers on anyway so I guess anyone who found him would just ring me on the numbers provided on their phone rather than scan and wait. Probably wouldn't have purchased if I had realised but he wears it anyway.

Just as described. Easy to setup online but unless it has to be used won't know if it works. Obviously I don't ever want that to happen but pleased to have the backup.

The tag itself works exactly as expected, but the ring will need replacing. I'm just glad mine fell off my dog's collar in the house.

Great product, such a good idea and a peace of mind when you have wandering dogs! I got one for each of my 2 dogs; after a trip in the woods, one of my dogs came back with only the ring attached to his collar, the ID broke and was lost; I sent an email to the company who straight away replaced it for me; no problems since.If you scan the tag, it not only gives your phone number and details about the dogs but when you get the email notification, you can see exactly where your dogs are which is really practical when you live out in the sticks!

Nice quality, but bigger than expected. I know the size is stated, but hard to get feel for what 30mm is until actually hang off a collar. Registration is easy & the scanning works well.
