Great idea, poor execution
I should have listened to reviews. I was optimistic after watching a YouTube video. I did keep it though because I didn't decide in time of the window. Anyway, it was no more aggravating than any other water sprinkler I had, only more expensive. Several of the adjustment knobs wouldn't turn at all! I used pliers to the point it was distorting the plastic and they still didn't move! And the ones that did move didn't spray the distance I needed them to. Read instructions on how to make adjustments because you adjust opposite from where water dispenses. I will keep looking for a good sprinkler.

Amazing Sprinkler
There are parts of our lawn that have been a problem to water because of the shape, etc. With this sprinkler thereare so many options that we can set it to water just about any area. This definitely saves us time and water .

Works Well for a Small Area
Works as designed, but has a short spray length that is only suitable for a very small area. You would need several sprinklers for a medium or large yeard.

Not Worth Spending Twice the Price
1. I thought I was buying the Orbit Precision Arc Sprinkler from the manufacturer's Orbit's Amazon store. Turns out, this prduct sold by the Amazon "Orbit Store" is from "Ron S. Home & Hardware," out of Speedway, Indiana. Orbit Irrigation Products, LLC, is headquarted in Utah. Not sure what the connection between these two entities are. I had no reason to believe that this Amazon Store wasn't actually run by Orbit Irrigation Products-- my first clue should have been the price.2. I bought the Precision Arc Sprinkler for $55 plus tax. My guess is that the manufacter, Orbit, probably wouldn't be price gouging. That's on me, and I take full responsibility for paying more than twice the MSRP. Nobody forced me to do that. I did it because I couldn't find it elsewhere and I thought it would be worth it. I was wrong.3. It is a *very* difficult and frustrating device to properly set up-- it's also easy to screw-up. In my frustration, I forced the Adjustment Collar Tabs which control the coverage area, and I think I broke the mechanism thhat causes the spinkler head to reverse. Oh, and the middle spike broke off, even though I siftened the ground with lots of water, as per the instructions. The Adjustment Collar Tab are REALLY, REALLY hard to figure out. Each time I thought I got the adjustment right, I'd discover that I hadn't. Trust me, I read the instructions several times. I should have paid closer attention to the large number of 1 star reviews.4. Each of the 12 "Distance Knobs" needs to be adjusted, and model 22795 (an older model?) sold by this Amazon seller does not come with a "key." The key is a small orange ring that's a small wrench allowing for easy knob turning, clockwise to shorten, and counter clockwise to lengthen to spray distance. It turns out that Orbit's newer model #56805 (which is out of stock from the manufacturer) does come with a key. So, on this model, the knobs need to be adjusted either by hand (incredibly hard to do) or with pliers. The plastic is soft and easy to mar if pliers are used.In short, I would have been unhappy with this spinkler at the MSRP of $25. Paying $55 was truly stupid. I should have paid closer attention to the 1 star reviews. Again, that's on me. Don't be like me.

would not buy again
I bought this after checking it out on you tube. With the adjustment knob making it easier to adjust the water spray. When it arrived it was in its original box for sale on the shelf, not boxed securely. The box was ripped and the part missing was the adjustment knob. I called customer support for Orbit and that was a mistake. Lack of help is a good term. I felt frustrated and it seemed like the customer support did not really have the desire to support. I can use pliers to try and adjust the water but I can tell that will only end up destroying the knob. What a disappointment.

So far, so good
I bought 2 and they were easy to install. I read all the bad reviews but had to try anyway because there's really nothing else that works like these. One on each side of the front stairs, tucked into the flower/bushes beds. That's where they will stay until the end of season and don't have to move to mow. It was either this or pro inground sprinklers. I had no problem adjusting the arc or the distance. Mine came with the little red twisty tools.I'd be happy to pay 2 or 3x more for a all metal pro version with 5 year warranty since this is the only game in town for this kind of sprinkler. One thing, I wish the long was a little longer an the short was a little shorter but this is still many times better than a traditional sprinkler.
